About the host
Hosted by Host
Hi - we are Roger and Amanda - we were both fortunate to spend our childhoods nearby in Swanage and Sandbanks respectively and spent a lot of time sailing in the harbour and visiting the beaches with our families. We love the area and count ourselves very fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world. Although circumstances meant we moved inland to live in North Dorset many years ago the intention is to retire to Poole eventually and when the opportunity arose to acquire Gull House it was just too good to miss. However the best laid plans sometimes don't work out quite as planned and we need to remain in North Dorset for family reasons for now and so are letting out the property in the meantime. However when the odd vacancy arises on the calendar we grab it and enjoy staying here too!
Initially we let the house out through local agencies as Roger was still working full-time however following a move to part-time we have now decided to take on the hosting and management of the property ourselves. It is the only property we look after and we love it and we hope you will too!
