Villa Sana, with a private pool & Sea View

Perched in the tranquil village of Mariou on the south coast of Rethymno, Villa Sana is a cosy, modern retreat that blends contemporary comfort with the wild beauty of southern Crete. At the top of the villa, by the outside entrance, there is a parking space for two cars next to the wall, making arrival easy. Surrounded by open skies, sea, and mountain views in every direction, the villa offers a deeply relaxing atmosphere where nature and design exist in harmony.

From the entrance, a staircase leads down to the main outdoor area, where the private swimming pool and BBQ unfold against a breathtaking backdrop of the Libyan Sea and rugged Cretan landscape. The outdoor space feels like a quiet sanctuary, designed for long, peaceful days under the sun and unforgettable evenings under the stars.

Inside, the open-plan living space welcomes you with warmth and light. On the right, the fully equipped modern kitchen with an island flows seamlessly into the dining and living area, creating an inviting space for cooking, relaxing, and enjoying the views. The living area features a TV, air conditioning, and a fan, while large openings connect the interior to the terrace, allowing natural light to flood the villa and ensuring the stunning scenery remains visible from every angle.

Next to the living area is the first bedroom, beautifully decorated for comfort and privacy. It features a king-size bed, TV, electrical blinds, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. From the bed, guests can enjoy magnificent sea and mountain views, while the bedroom doors open directly onto the pool terrace.

In front of the entrance, a storage room stocked with essentials and a dedicated laundry room with a washing/dryer machine, and on the left, a WC leads to the second bedroom. This room has an elegant feel as well, offering a king-size bed, TV, electrical blinds, an ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the BBQ area next to the pool.

The third bedroom is located in a completely separate part of the property, ideal for guests seeking extra independence. It has no internal connection to the rest of the villa, and the guests reach it by walking down a few stairs in front of the pool. This independent suite has its own private entrance and a private patio, perfect for quiet moments and peaceful relaxation.

Step outside to discover the heart of Villa Sana: the private swimming pool (heated with extra cost) surrounded by a serene terrace with panoramic sea and mountain views. The outdoor area includes sunbeds, pouffes, two parasols, a shower and a large dining table for up to eight guests under a pergola beside the electric BBQ. A built-in sofa-style seating area completes the terrace, offering the perfect spot to enjoy sunrise, morning coffee, or sunset drinks.

From every corner of the villa, the sea view remains visible, and the feeling is one of complete calm and an intimate hideaway where nature, comfort, and timeless beauty come together.
