Luxury design villa with private heated pool, near the city of Porto!

Large top design house, 270 m², comfortable space for up to 6 adults.
Garage, nice living room with single sofa-bed, complete modern kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, large fridge,...), 3 spacious bedrooms with double bed, 4 bathrooms (1 with hydromassage), nice heated swimming pool and small garden in the small city of Sanguedo, but lots of green and rather quiet environment. Remark: all the neighbors have a dog, so good to know but at night things get completely quiet normally.
Luxury: very modern architecture, airco in every room, sound system in every room, lots of wood and inox,...
Very nice views with on the horizon the Serra do Montemuro en the Serra do Marão. We help you with lots of information about the environment and our family lives near the house, in case there is a problem or question during your stay.
The center of Sanguedo is about 0.5 km. At a short walking distance from the villa you will find a bakery, a butcher, a pharmacy and a few restaurants.

Delicious bakery where you can also have breakfast. At restaurant Wimpy they serve very generously for a very competitive price!
The seaside resort of Espinho is only a 10-minute drive away. Due to the favorable location of the villa, the cities of Porto (20 km), Vila Nova de Gaia (15 km), Coimbra (106 km) and Aveiro (64 km) are easy to reach, both by car and public transport.

A beautiful home very distant from Porto attractions

The home was great, the neighborhood not so much. Luckily we rented a car so we were able to drive to downtown Porto, without that we would’ve been in a tough spot.

Family holiday

The villa was very spacious and very modern. The security was really good. The pool was fantastic and much appreciated on the days when the temperature was over 30 degrees. The bedrooms were all large and all had all had access to outside space. We didn't do much cooking indoors but used the bar b que. One sllght niggle was that the villa was advertised with the 2 toilets as bathrooms. I think that this is an American thing, but we brits would normally not call a toilet a bathroom. It's not a criticism but more a difference in translation. The local village had a lovely bakery/cafe and a garage and the supermarket was a 5 minute drive away and had everything you need. We all had a lovely relaxing holiday and would recommend Filipe and Marcia's villa to anyone.

Luxueuze villa bij Porto

Wij hadden een heerlijk verblijf in de moderne luxueuze villa met zwembad in de buurt van Porto. Het huis is zeer compleet alles is aanwezig. Heel fijn dat er winkeltjes op loopafstand waren dus elke ochtend vers brood. Heel centraal gelegen om naar Porto en de Douro te gaan. Porto is een half uurtje rijden. Communicatie met de eigenaar en de conciërge heel aangenaam. Wij mochten later uitchecken omdat onze volgende accommodatie niet beschikbaar was. Al met al een heerlijke week in een top huis!

Leuk huis met mooi uitzicht. Enkele mankementen waren er wel: Kwaliteit van de matrassen was niet zo goed Buitenverlichting bijna allemaal stuk Enige paraplu was stuk 1 airco was stuk Kortom: leuk huis, maar het heeft een beetje zorg en onderhoud nodig

Dank voor jullie feedback. Sorry voor de ervaren ongemakken, jullie hadden een beetje pech dat enkele zaken samen kwamen. Om de paar maanden zijn wij zelf in Portugal en proberen we alles weer tip top te zetten. De nieuwe parasol staat er ondertussen al en een aantal andere zaken pakken we nu ook aan. De suggestie van de bedden blijft ook hangen, we gaan daar zeker werk van maken want we willen steeds gaan voor een 5-sterren ervaring. Dank voor de goeie zorgen en steeds terug welkom! Filip&Marcia

Très belle prestation

Le propriétaire n'était pas sur place mais à notre arrivée les instructions ayant été données, tout c'est bien passé. De plus, il a toujours été disponible durant notre séjour. Villa très agréable, où tout le confort nous attendait. Seul petit problème, une literie un peu basse et étroite quand on dort habituellement dans un 160, c'est souvent la mauvaise surprise dans les locations de dormir dans un 140. Localisation bien située pour découvrir le nord du Portugal.

Belle et grande maison

Très belle maison avec une superbe vue, une piscine assez grande et chauffée et assez d’espace à l’extérieur!! La maison est agréable à vivre même à plusieurs! Porto mit Familie

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der schönen Villa mit herrlichem Ausblick sehr genossen. Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter, aber wir haben die regenfreie Zeit sehr gut genutzt und uns vieles angesehen. Die Villa in Sanguedo ist der modern ausgestattet und der Pool war auch im Oktober beheizt.

Das Objekt ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber schön gelegen; einziger Nachteil, dass in der unmittelbaren Umgebung kaum sportliche Aktivitäten möglich sind. Im Außenbereich wären intakte Liegen angenehm gewesen. Filip & Marcia sind sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich immer gut und zeitnah um alle Anliegen kümmern.

Grundsätzlich ein schönes geräumiges Objekt, allerdings mit Abstrichen in Zustand und Sauberkeit

Grundsätzlich ein sehr schönes Objekt. In einer für uns guten Lage (Verwandtschaft wohnt in angrenzenden Straßen oder Ortschaften). Doch muss ich leider Abzüge in Sauberkeit und Zustand geben da Staub auf den Böden, den Klimaanlagen unter den Möbeln und Fusseln auf Teppichen und Couchgarnituren sowie Essensreste im Backofen vorzufinden waren. Auch lassen sich die Türen unten in Küche und Wohnzimmer sowie in der Mitte von einem Schlafzimmer zum Balkon schwer schließen. Manche Möbel sind sehr abgelebt. Zudem scheint die Strömung des Pools nicht ausreichend eingestellt zu sein. Von einem Objekt in dieser Preisklasse hatten wir einen sauberen und gepflegteren Zustand erwartet. Wichtige Hinweise: Die Matratzen der vier Betten sind hart - wer das nicht mag sollte sich Isomatten mitbringen. Auch gibt es nur zwei große (180 breite) Betten. Die zwei Anderen sind eher 140 - max 160 breit. Der Staubsauger und die Klimaanlagen in Küche und Wohnzimmer sollten nicht in Betrieb genommen werden. Dies führte bei uns zu wiederholten Stromausfällen im ganzen Haus - ein Elektriker kam trotz Kontakt zum Anbieter und dortigen Zusage leider nicht.

Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Sie nicht vollständig zufrieden waren. Tipps sind natürlich willkommen, aber es scheint uns im Moment nicht alles richtig zu sein. In Sachen Sauberkeit können wir es kaum glauben. Wir arbeiten seit 10 Jahren mit derselben Person zusammen und bisher sind alle sehr zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit. Apropos Filterung des Schwimmbades: Leider sind es oft die Mieter, die die Filterung im Schwimmbad selbst schließen (weißer Knopf an der Treppe), damit das Wasser schnell anfängt zu kippen. Die Leute tun dies wegen des Rauschens der Filterung, ohne zu erkennen, dass sie mehr schaden als nützen. Wir werden etwas an der Qualität der Betten unternehmen, das ist durchaus verbesserungsfähig und dessen sind wir uns bewusst. Schritt für Schritt ersetzen wir jedes Bett, wir hoffen, Sie haben bemerkt, dass das Bett des obersten Zimmers bereits brandneu und von höchster Qualität ist. Nochmals Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten mit dem Strom. Ehrlich gesagt, vor und nach Ihrer Ankunft gab es nie Probleme mit dem Strom. Vielleicht spielt das eine Rolle: In Portugal können die Sicherungen den außergewöhnlichen Verbrauch nicht verkraften. Dies wird erreicht, indem alle Elektrogeräte gleichzeitig eingeschaltet werden. Tatsächlich haben wir damit auch nie Probleme, in diesem halb im Erdgeschoss gebauten Haus ist es nie notwendig, alle Klimaanlagen gleichzeitig laufen zu lassen...

Très belle maison moderne

Maison élégante et moderne. Beaucoup de place et des grandes chambres. Piscine suffisante et à l'ombre ce qui est très bien quand il fait chaud. Très belle vue. Petit village sympathique avec commerces. Voiture nécessaire évidemment mais villa proche de Porto d'espinho, du Douro. Propriétaire trescreactifcet répondant aux messages. En conclusion, nous recommandons vivement.

Grande villa avec vue

Très belle villa, très spacieuse, avec piscine (température un peu juste), barbecue. Il faut faire avec le bruit des animaux dans le voisinage le jour et la nuit.

Mooi, schoon en compleet huis

Wij waren blij verrast met het huis. Prachtig zwembad(duikbril aan te raden ivm chloor) Helemaal compleet huis op een rustige weg in Sanguedo. Ongeveer 30 min rijden naar centrum Porto. Prettig direct contact met de eigenaren.

Maison luxueuse proche de Porto

Maison moderne très bien équipée, il ne manque rien. Piscine chauffée. Proximité de nombreux sites touristiques dont Porto, Braga, vallée du Douro... Maison idéale pour famille nombreuse. Excellente communication avec le propriétaire. Secteur où un GPS est chaudement recommandé ! Il nous a juste manqué un peu plus de soleil 😕

La casa excelente, nos encantó a todos. El trato con el dueño fantástico. La única pega que le ponemos es que no se puede hacer ningún tipo de ruido, ya que los vecinos se quejan. No obstante, repetiríamos sin dudarlo.
