Nestled in peaceful gardens, The Butterchurn is a calm and cosy Suffolk retreat for two. Curl up by the wood-burning stove and unwind in a tranquil hideaway made for rest and quiet moments together.. All on the Ground Floor:

Living area: Woodburner, French Doors Leading To Terrace

Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Induction Hob, Microwave, Fridge (Small Freezer Compartment), Coffee Machine
Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Travel cot available on request. Front garden with, firepit, sitting-out area and terrace. Hot tub for 2 (private). Sauna (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. The Butterchurn, once part of a dairy, it is now a cosy countryside hideaway. A calming open-plan space greets you as you step through the door, where soft lighting, natural textures and the glow of a wood burning stove create a sense of quiet comfort. The Butterchurn’s compact kitchen is fully equipped for easy self-catering, while the kingsize bed with Hypnos mattress, promises a deep and peaceful night’s sleep. The space is full of charm, lovingly renovated, with exposed beams and handmade touches.
The dual aspect french doors, enable you to enjoy the perfect breakfast outside in the morning sun, overlooking the gardens and apple trees. Then as evening approaches, settle by the firepit/BBQ as the sun sets through the trees, enjoying a soak in your wood-fired hot tub and watching the stars appear above you. Guests can also hire a private sauna session or explore the woodland paths and pond within the grounds, or an Ooni pizza oven to enjoy nights cooking out under the stars. Lovely Dutch style bicycles can also be hired to explore the local lanes, villages, pubs and restaurants.
Close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast, with charming towns like Aldeburgh, Southwold and Framlingham nearby, The Butterchurn is ideal for a romantic or restorative break surrounded by nature. Food lovers will enjoy acclaimed local restaurants. With nearby farm shops, charming villages and open fields and skies, the opportunity to escape and relax is at every turn.
