The Space:

Nestled within the beautifully landscaped grounds of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park, Lucas Lodge offers a peaceful and inviting countryside escape. This stylish two bedroom, two bathroom lodge sleeps up to four guests and is ideal for couples or small families looking for comfort, relaxation, and time surrounded by nature.



Inside, the open-plan living area is bright and spacious, featuring soft neutral décor, comfortable seating, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, a dining area perfect for relaxed meals, and the lodge also benefits from a convenient washing machine for longer stays. The lounge flows seamlessly to the private terrace, creating the perfect indoor-outdoor living environment.



The master bedroom offers a restful double bed and en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom features twin beds, ideal for family stays or visiting friends. The additional bathroom includes a bathtub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or enjoying the surrounding countryside.



Step outside to your private terrace where you’ll find a luxurious hot tub and outdoor seating area overlooking the tranquil garden views. Whether you are enjoying morning coffee in the fresh air or a peaceful soak under the evening sky, this space is designed for relaxation and calm.



Lucas Lodge is also pet-friendly, meaning your four-legged companions can enjoy the getaway too. Guests staying at the park can make the most of the on-site Bar & Grill, nine-hole golf course, children’s play area and beautifully maintained walking routes—combining comfort and nature with a touch of luxury.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.

Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park enjoys a peaceful yet convenient location in the heart of Yorkshire, surrounded by countryside while remaining just a short distance from the historic city of York. Travelling by car is simple, with the park located just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and roughly a 25–30 minute drive from York. The A1(M) and A64 provide excellent connections for those arriving from further afield, and each lodge includes free on-site parking for easy access throughout your stay.



If you’re travelling by train, York Railway Station offers direct connections to London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From there, taxis and car hire options make reaching the park quick and straightforward. Bus services also run regularly between York and Pocklington, with the final stretch from Pocklington to the park taking only a few minutes by taxi.



Guests can explore local highlights such as Pocklington’s independent shops, cafés, and restaurants, or enjoy walks and bike rides through Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve nearby. For days out, York’s world-famous attractions — including York Minster, The Shambles, and the National Railway Museum — are within easy reach.
