Spacious Lakefront House on Norris Lake in Deerfield Resort, Sleeps 16

This is one of the nicest lakefront homes/lots available in Deerfield Resort with all of the amenities to make your vacation PERFECT. It is one of the flattest lots for easy "up and down" access from the house to the dock (NO STEPS). This is a 5 bedroom house PLUS a loft that comfortably sleeps 16 in beds. This luxury home makes it the perfect vacation for boating, water skiing, fishing and golfing. Our house also has a spacious lake front patio that is steps from the water. The back patio and deck provide breathtaking, panoramic views of the lake. PET FRIENDLY (fee applies)

We pride ourselves to have one of the best rental homes on the lake. We constantly maintain and upgrade the home to keep it in the condition you expect when you arrive.

Outdoor, stainless steel gas grill with spare propane tanks.

Kitchen: Includes large refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, additional refrigerator/freezer on the lower level. All cooking items and place settings for over 15 people. Stove, oven, microwave, and central preparation island, makes it easy to prepare for multiple families.

Bluetooth Stereo System: Allows you to play your own music outside, on the porch. Inside has a stereo with CD player.

Great Rooms: Two separate rooms both with TV and DVD player. Both include a comfortable seating. The lower great room also has a foosball table and old Playstation with some games. There is a full-size fireplace with candles on the first floor. Also equipped with board games that will keep the family busy in the evenings or on a rainy day.

Walkway: A paved walkway from the house to the dock with one step at the dock and then just one flight on the deck by the house.

Dock: The boat dock has slips for TWO boats. One is covered, one is not. A large slide on the dock offers additional fun for the kids. There is also a swim ladder to easily get in and out of the lake . NOTE: One of the boat slips is equipped with a boat lift!

Deerfield Resort: Guests have access to the golf course, private marina, pool, volley ball court and tennis court.

Airstrip: One of our community's most unique features is a private airstrip with a 3000-foot paved runway.

Boat Rentals: Shanghai Marina and Springs Dock are close to Deerfield Resort and offer pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats or wave runners for rent: 5-10 minutes driving / 2 minutes by boat.

Fishing Licenses: Licenses are NOT available at the marinas, but can be purchased in town at Walmart or by calling 888-814-8972.

Golf Course: The Greens at Deerfield offers a beautiful 6800-yard championship course designed by Bobby Clampett. The course also features a driving range and practice greens. The Golf Shop offers a full service pro shop with a wide array of clubs, accessories and apparel.

Deerfield's Recreational Amenities:

Swimming Pool: Open Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. 9AM-9PM Daily. There is no lifeguard on duty. An adult must accompany children under 12.

Tennis Courts: Open all year - Daylight-Dark It is not necessary to reserve court time. Rental racquets and balls are available at the Deerfield office.

Sand Volleyball: Open all year - Daylight-Dark Volleyball available at Deerfield office.

Restaurants:

The Green's Grill located inside the clubhouse at The Greens at Deerfield offers breakfast and lunch. Open 7 days Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day Weekend. Open Fri, Sat & Sun in April, May, September, and October.

The marinas of Springs Dock, Shanghai Resort & Sequoyah Marina all have good food.

McCloud Mountain Trails & Restaurant:

This is one of the most beautiful mountain views in the area. The Developer of Deerfield Resort is also the developer of McCloud Mountain.This is worth the 35 minute drive.

University of Tennessee - About 45 minutes from the stadium.

Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg attractions are only a 60 minute drive.

Great for the holidays!

This was a great place to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with the family! We had a large group and the weather was a bit cold so we spent most of the time inside. But the house was perfect. Large kitchen and dining area, two comfy living areas and plenty of sleeping space.

Norris Lake Stay

We had a great time during our stay at this lake house. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. One of the rooms was a loft off the living room with curtains versus walls which was unexpected, but we made it work. Overall we had a great time and the house's location on the lake was absolutely ideal.

A Perfect Family Getaway with Stunning Lake Views

Our family vacation at this house was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight, without a doubt, was the stunning view of the lake with the mountains in the background. The peaceful scenery created such a serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and spending quality time together. On top of that, the homeowners were incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to return for another amazing family getaway!

Labor day stay

Experience was good, we all had great time. The only reason for the cleanliness being at 4 stars is the interior hvac grills were pretty dirty and the refrigerator leaked water out but everything else was good.

Great Lake Stay!

Property is on a great part of the lake without a steep bank which is one of the reasons we picked it. House was clean and kitchen well stocked. Bring extra TP and drinks because the stores are not close by! Our goal was to only leave by boat once we arrived and that’s exactly what happened. Great fire pit by the water. Would easily stay here again.

Great Location on Lake Norris!

The house was very large and had ample room for our large family. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking supplies and dishes. The basement rec room was ideal if you have teenagers who want to hang out. Very nice view and easy access to the lake. We loved the fire pit at night. Good communication with the host.

Nice place!

This place is spacious and was fairly well equipped. Although remote, the view was gorgeous with an easy trek to the lake. There is some wear and tear on the kitchen and the dock. Appliances are well worn and dock needs some maintenance. Deck is very nice and a great place to hangout. Fun week!

Comfortable family getaway

We had a very nice time, with plenty of space for our group to stay comfortably. Host was very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. Views are lovely and our family gathering was fun for kids and adults alike. We enjoyed the winery right outside the resort too. Would not recommend an off-season stay, as the best features of this property are outdoors so our access was limited some days due to the weather. Couches were not very comfortable, front porch light was out, and it got very cold in the basement bedrooms at night no matter the temp the thermostat was set at. Some minor repairs/updates are due, nothing that was unusable or unsafe, but made some rooms feel more like a buddy’s lake house than a vacation rental at the price paid. Our objective for the weekend was to get away and spend time having fun with extended family, which we did!

Dock needs some maintenance

The property was very clean. The upstairs master bedroom was very warm. The temp in master was 82 degrees during the day and stayed at 76during the night. A fan would have been nice. dock is what I had the most issues with. The walkway to get onto the dock was broken. A sharp piece of metal was sticking out. The ladder was broken. The property advertise a covered dock, but you could not use that dock. If you didn’t have a proper boat, it was made for a V haul not a tri toon. Even if I had a boat to fit I would not used it did not look very safe. The side dock, which was not covered and had bolts sticking out of it. I used at least 10 bumpers and still had damage to my pontoons I think the owners were trying to fix up the house. It looked like it had new siding and gutters and decking. It was very nice. The location was great. I think they need to spend some time on the dock fixing it up. We did enjoy our stay and it is a very nice place at the lake.

Deerfield Property Review

Our group had a great week at this property. The house was spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The sleeping situation was a little weird for our group due to the high number of twin beds and bunks. There is only one king bed and two queen beds. The rest are twins or bunks. The tree shaded firepit area was great for those who wanted to get out of the sun for a bit. The gentle slope from the house to the dock was welcome after a long day on the water. The house is situated on a very busy section of the lake (not in a no wake zone). We were there during the holiday week and the water was VERY rough with wakes from boats and jet skis. We were thankful for the boat lift to protect the boat but our two jet skis were battered and bruised by the end of the week. We were able to float in the water but it wasn’t as relaxing as it could have been without the rough waters. I would imagine it would be better during a less busy time of the year.

Family time

We have made it a tradition to get together with family over labor day. Some live out of town and Norris Lake works great. This home worked great. We all had space. The property was laid out perfectly.

Family vacation

Norris Lake and Deerfield resort are beautiful places. The house is very nice and clean and accommodated our family well. The gentle walk to the dock and the fire pit area was definitely a plus for our parents. We enjoyed cooking, grilling and playing games when we weren’t out on the lake. Truly wonderful vacation for the whole family.

Great house, lot, & location

What a great time we had! We couldn’t have asked for a better location because our group wanted to hang out at the jumping bridge most of the time. We had quite of few storms chase us off the lake, and it was a very quick and easy ride back to the house. We rented a tritoon for the week and fortunately it fit into the open slip at our dock. Having no stairs was also a huge benefit…no lugging coolers up and down staircases! The view from this place was incredible. We loved having our coffee every morning on the deck and watching the boats & skiers pass by. The weather cooperated once so we could enjoy the fire pit down by the water. All in all a great place!

A great family retreat!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay. The property was as shown and as described, but better. Our communications with the owners before and during our stay, on even small issues were quickly responded to and handled promptly. It was a terrific week thanks to a beautiful property and a perfect location, and a great owner. It was a 5 star place for our family gathering of 10.

Fabulous time with family

Our entire family took a vacation for the first time in 20 years and this place did not disappoint. The house was clean, spacious, well decorated and was right on the lake. Any interactions with the owner were timely. He provided good advice for our stay. We had a blast and can’t wait to come back!!

Comfortable Lake Front Convenience

Comfortable home with easy access to lake. Nice big dock in convenient lake front location about in middle of Deerfield's shore line. Several mornings we went wakeboarding starting just a short distance from the dock on smooth water.
