Welcome to 3 St John’s Street, a beautifully renovated and spacious Cotswolds cottage set in the heart of Lechlade-on-Thames. Just moments from the High Street, shops, cafés and the River Thames, this inviting home offers a calm, stylish retreat with a large private garden — perfect for families, couples and friends exploring Lechlade and the surrounding Cotswold villages.
Sleeping up to 6 guests, the cottage blends modern comfort with a warm, boutique feel.
Entering from the front, you step into a bright hallway leading through to the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. With soft neutral décor, tasteful furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout, the ground floor offers a relaxed, homely atmosphere.
The living room features two comfortable sofas, a large Smart TV and a cosy wood-burner, creating a warm and inviting space to unwind after a day out.
To the rear is the newly fitted kitchen, fully equipped with everything you’ll need: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster and full cookware.
The dining area seats six comfortably for shared meals and cosy evenings in.
Large bifold doors bring in plenty of natural light and open directly into the garden.
The large, fully enclosed garden is a standout feature — ideal for families, children and dogs. With a good-sized lawn, patio area and outdoor seating, it’s perfect for morning coffee, relaxed afternoons or dining outside on warm days. A BBQ is also provided.
Upstairs you will find three comfortable bedrooms, all finished with fresh, neutral styling:
Bedroom 1 – Master (King)
A spacious king-size room with hotel-quality bedding, bedside lighting and plenty of storage.
Bedroom 2 – Double
A cosy double bedroom, perfect for couples or older children.
Bedroom 3 – Twin
A bright room with two full-size single beds, ideal for adults or children.
All beds are made with crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complimentary toiletries.
The modern family bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower.
The gorgeous loft bathroom features a freestanding tub set against a Cotswold stone wall, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, skylights that flood the room with natural light, and a modern vanity — creating a calm, spa-like space to relax in.
Travel cot and high chair available on request at no extra charge.
We welcome well-behaved dogs (up to 2) with no additional fee.
We simply ask that dogs do not go on the beds or furniture.
There is free on-street parking along St John’s Street.
Check-in: From 3pm via key safe (early check-in may be possible if the night before isn’t booked).
Check-out: 10am, so we can prepare the cottage for our next guests.
