Appreciate the peace and quiet in this modern-style beach house. Soak up the muted seaside colours while basking in the living room with your favourite people. Sink into plump sofas at the end of a busy day and watch a film on the Smart TV before whipping up a feast in the open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen space is a joy to cook in, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. On balmy evenings, unwind with a post-dinner drink on the terrace, where splendid sea views provide the perfect backdrop for a catch-up with the family. Chillier evenings are well spent in the additional snug, where a choice of books, a big bay window and cushy seating. When it’s time to hit the hay, two stylishly designed ground-floor bedrooms provide a good night’s sleep, while upstairs, a king-size room benefits from low, sloping ceilings and a skylight.

Awake to enjoy a leisurely stroll down to the seaside of Trevone Bay (0.5 miles). Enjoy glorious shimmering sands, crystal blue waters, a tidal pool and many rock pools to keep you and the family entertained until dusk. Hop in the car and head to the bustling seaside town of Padstow, made famous by Rick Stein’s culinary seafood creations. Shops, pubs, restaurants and museums draw you away from the water, while avid adventurers may want to experience the sea cliffs and rich wildlife of the South West Coast Path.
