Great hosts, lovely house with lots of character and a brilliant location for our trip. The kitchen was also really well equipped and the fast internet connection was really handy. Many thanks!
Absolutely gorgeous property - spacious and well looked after. Beds super comfortable and lots of living space, also steps from the local pub which is a definite plus. We loved our time here.

Cottage was nice and tidy.. Comfy beds great location for travelling the surrounding areas..
The White hart pub within walking distance and food was lovely
Good sized cottage, very well equipped and conveniently located for local attractions. Local pub close by, and fine for a basic meal and a drink. Comfortable beds, large kitchen, patio dog secure garden.
We had a lovely holiday. We loved the house and the log burners. The two reception rooms were great with the wide variety of ages we had. Perfect enclosed courtyard for dogs. Great communication from start to finish from Christine. Good amenities just a few doors down - cafe, pub with food, butchers (although this was closed during our stay). Thank you for a great holiday!

Hi Sarah - so glad the house suited you all so well and you lived St Teath as much as we do. See you again I hope.
Really helpful host and housekeeper, the rooms are lovely and light and feel very spacious. Great location being on a bus route and having a pub virtually next door. Would definitely stay again

So glad you enjoyed your stay despite the best efforts of the motorways. Will pass on your compliments to the White Hart!
We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was lovely and very spacious. Very well equipped especially the kitchen.
Quite creaky but otherwise very peaceful and St Teath is a lovely village.
We were altogether 7 adults but although Tynedale doesn't have big rooms we didn't feel cramped and all loved the large kitchen table. Near many beautiful spots and walking distance of a nice traditional pub.

So glad you enjoyed your stay - it was overly meeting you all and I hope the tv worked in the end!
The cottage was beautiful, the inside was very quaint and cosy! Very large inside, so plenty of space for our whole family. Only downside was the shower head in the main bathroom is slightly broken, it won’t hold itself up. But overall the stay was perfect!

Thanks for the review and the feedback on the shower - now fixed! So pleased you had quality family time here !
Enjoyed everything about the house & its surroundings & highly recommend eating at the White Hart Pub next door.
The only thing about the property that I would change are the bed mattress they where without a shadow of doubt the most uncomfortable things to sleep on but I understand that to others they may be perfect but in these days of memory foam this is the way too go to replace old spring mattress.

Hi Barbara - thank you for your review, glad you enjoyed your stay!
The property was easily large enough for three adults and 3 children. A great location for lots of north Cornwall attractions and beaches. The pub is 50m away and has a good playground and serves good food.
My only real criticisms of the property were the kitchen was missing a couple of family sized dishes and the house was in need of a little tlc. However these were minor criticisms.

About the host
Hosted by Christine Conner
We are parents to three surf loving sons (and now two grandsons) and live in Devon, just an hour away from Tynedale. We have spent most of our summers and holidays in North Cornwall and my children grew up eating chips and sandy pasties on the beach between tides and surf. We boat and spend as much time as possible afloat and fishing off the beautiful Cornish and Devon coasts during the good weather. Tynedale belonged to my mother, it is a family home and we have relatives in the village and local area. It is lovely to hear stories of how others enjoy the house as we have and we hope you will also love it and make happy and lasting memories for all the family.
Why they chose this property
"Highly recommended but, most importantly, dog-friendly" - “Tourist-free and peaceful village” "The owner welcomed us with a delicious cake" - "Well-equipped and tastefully decorated" and many other complimentary reviews on both cottage and village. Tynedale has a "homey" feeling. It is comfortable and well-furnished and equipped but child- and dog-friendly. The log burners give it a cosy atmosphere. It is well-placed for activities and attractions but not overrun with other visitors.
What makes this property unique
Near enough for all the coastal fun but tucked away from the mayhem and high prices at the height of summer. A peaceful and cosy retreat at the end of the day Local village pub and plenty of living space for all the family.
