About this property

2 Bed in Blakeney (oc-1805)

Stay at this charming cottage with a rich history in the pretty spot of Blakeney on the Norfolk coast. The perfect spot for your family of four, this home was part of the original merchants’ houses, dating back around 200 years. Explore the coast on foot or bike before getting cosy in front of the warming wood burner or enjoy dining alfresco in the enclosed courtyard.

Enter this historic property and hang up your coats and beach towels in the entrance hallway. The stylish kitchen/diner has everything you need to cook up tasty meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner that can be eaten together at the dining table. A spacious and welcoming lounge has plenty of seating, a TV, and a wood burner for warming up on chilly nights. Heading upstairs you will find the two bedrooms, a light and bright master with a double bed, and a bunk bedroom which is ideal for the children of the group. A short distance down the lane is a lovely, decked courtyard with seating, and a BBQ.

Situated in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Blakeney is a pretty village with a large nature reserve, home to a grey seal colony. You will find amenities such as a shop, and places to eat within just 0.5 miles. Visit the riverside and take a boat trip to see the seals and other wildlife living in the National Trust Nature Reserve and salt marshes (0.5 miles). Head off on foot or bike and enjoy the plethora of walks and cycle routes in the area, alternatively, you could kick back and relax at Holkham Beach (10.5 miles).
