About this property
3 Bed in Felixstowe (oc-s27808)
This quirky Victorian terrace house sits within 50 metres of Felixstowe’s beach and is a fantastic base for a relaxing holiday surrounded by miles of stunning coastline and countryside. With room for two dogs, the house offers spacious living areas, a snug, a study and a west-facing garden to the rear - where better for active families who love walking, water sports and wildlife to spend their well-earned getaway?
Tucked away in a quiet corner of this vibrant seaside town, the bright two-storey house blends period features with colourful and characterful soft furnishings that give its spacious, practical interior a welcoming ambience. Sink into the comfort of the lounge for quiet time as much as family gatherings, with a snug nearby for the children to do their own thing. There’s plenty of room in the kitchen/diner for everyone on two legs and four paws to eat in comfort, with a handy utility room off to the side ideal for sorting out mucky pups. The king-size bedroom on the first floor enjoys cracking sea views, the zip-and-link twin bedroom can be converted to a super-king-size upon request, while a second twin is available for youngsters to make their own. If you need to make contact with the office, a small study can be found on the first floor along with the family bathroom. When it’s time for some fresh air, head into the enclosed west-facing garden for alfresco lunches or BBQ suppers.
Games room in an outbuilding in the garden of the property providing games and an entertainment space. Comes equipped with a pool table, air hockey table, dart board, ample seating and even a disco ball.
You and yours can look forward to days on the beach (200 metres) or reconnect with wildlife during strolls around Landguard Fort and Nature Reserve (1 mile). Felixstowe is a popular seaside town and offers an array of cultural, culinary and historic attractions, particularly around its promenade and pier. Golfers should check out the old town’s heathland course (3.5 miles) or for longer days out, all should head to the riverside town of Woodbridge (14 miles).
