Located in the pretty village of Bowness on Solway best known as the western end of Hadrian’s Wall with country pubs and cafes, on a clear day enjoy views across to Scotland. Just 15 miles from the Border city of Carlisle, with Cathedral, museum and castle. This is the ideal base to explore the Cumbrian coast, Scotland and the Lake District National Park. There are lots of bike routes and walks from your front door and plenty to do in the local area, visit the Solway Aviation Museum or jump to the west of the village where you will find, Campfield Marsh RSPB Reserve and Wetlands Centre, here you can enjoy the spectacular local wildlife. Why not take a train from Carlisle which has a regular train service to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Newcastle, or take the beautiful Settle line. The famous Scottish town of Gretna Green is just 22 miles away, visit the wedding anvil or enjoy a day shopping at the outlet village.

The utility room conveniently located on the ground floor is ideal for washing muddy clothes. The well-appointed kitchen is to the rear of the property and has everything you need to rustle up a hearty breakfast or evening meal for your party. Ascend the wide staircase to discover two double bedrooms: one with a Velux window and sloped ceilings. Both rooms offer a delightful retreat before a restful night's sleep. The third bedroom, a king-size, has an en-suite shower room. There is a spacious family bathroom on the first floor along the landing with a bath allowing you to relax after a long day exploring!
