Enjoy pure peace and tranquillity in this captivating, converted barn nestled in the serene countryside of Llwynygroes, the ultimate romantic retreat ideal for couples who love nothing better than walking, hiking and cycling through breathtaking landscapes.
At the heart of this home-from-home, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts a harmonious blend of rustic charm and sophisticated elegance; the gorgeous high, beamed ceiling creates a welcome sense of space whilst the roaring wood burner housed inside a feature inglenook fireplace sets the scene for pure relaxation at the end of a busy day''s adventure. Adorned with Moroccan-style décor and flooded with plenty of natural sunlight, the king-size bedroom upstairs offers a haven of serenity to retire to for a well-deserved slumber before beginning your next adventure with an invigorating shower in the characterful shower room. Outside, the expansive garden surrounded by ancient woodlands is a haven for wildlife, with rabbits, squirrels and a variety of birds frequently making appearances; unwind while listening to the soothing sounds of the forest as you dine alfresco on the decking or sip a sundowner in the hot tub. Nestled among charming cottages, a lush lawn unfurls.
The serene countryside of Llwynygroes is just 5.5 miles from the ancient market town of Tregaron, nestled astride the River Brenig in the shadow of the Cambrian Mountains, a mecca for walking and mountain biking trails through open countryside with unspoilt rural views. Explore Cors Caron, 6.5 miles away, a nature reserve spanning over 2,000 acres, which fills the valley of the upper Teifi River between Tregaron and Pontrhydfendigaid. Keen walkers can join the Cwm Berwyn Walk (7.5 miles) whilst cycling enthusiasts can join the Ystwyth Cycle Trail beginning in Tregaron. Enjoy a day at the seaside along the coastlines of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth, both reached within 21 miles.
