Enter the property through the hallway into the airy country-style kitchen with neutral tones throughout, a pop of colour in the tiling and a ‘U''-shaped fitted unit. Continue into the cosy open-plan lounge/diner with rustic hanging lights, a wooden beamed ceiling and wooden furnishings throughout. Surrounding the exposed brick fireplace with a wood burner is a sofa and two armchairs. Open the patio doors to the garden while you dine at the table behind the lounge area. Upstairs you''ll find a family bathroom and two bedrooms - a king-size with a door leading to the external stone staircase and a twin zip-and-link bedroom. Outside is an enclosed patio with furniture, BBQ and fire pit. Stay in the Welsh countryside and visit the nearby market town of Llandovery (7 miles). Spend an afternoon learning the history of National Trust Dolaucothi''s gold mines which date back to Roman times (3 miles). Take a picnic to the waterfalls of Cwm Rhaeadr Forest (7 miles) or put on your walking boots to hike around the northwest of the Brecon Beacons National Park (10 miles). Here you can see the Red Kite Feeding Station Llanddeusant (14.5 miles), the 13th-century ruins of Carreg Cennen Castle (17.5 miles) and the scenic Llyn y fan Fawr hiking area and mountains (23.5 miles).
