About this property
Dolphin View, New Quay
Savour sweeping, uninterrupted views of the sea, harbour, and dramatic Welsh coastline from this beautifully presented three-bedroom apartment in the very heart of New Quay, Ceredigion. Everything is just moments from the doorstep.
One of the apartment’s most magical features is the chance to spot dolphins right from your bedroom window or while relaxing in the living room. New Quay’s resident bottlenose dolphins are often seen playing in the bay below, offering guests an unforgettable glimpse of local wildlife without even stepping outside.
New Quay itself is a charming seaside town boasting three lovely beaches—Harbour Beach, Dolau Beach, and Traeth Gwyn—along with a picturesque harbour. Enjoy a stroll along the seafront with fish and chips or ice cream in hand, choosing from the many cafés and restaurants dotted along the waterfront. For a closer look at Cardigan Bay’s amazing marine life, take a boat trip to watch the dolphins and spot seals and seabirds.
New Quay is steeped in history from Maritime to famous faces. The famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas spent some time living in New Quay, and it’s believed that a few of the characters in his well-known work Under Milk Wood were inspired by the people he met while he was here.
With scenic National Trust coastal trails, water-sport activities, welcoming pubs and bars, and a friendly local atmosphere, New Quay truly offers something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for an adventurous coastal walk with breathtaking views, a lazy day paddling or paddleboarding in the bay, or an evening spent enjoying good food and local hospitality, you’ll find it all just a short stroll away.
