About this property
Casale Lilla, surrounded by nature, 2 family-friendly apartments, pets allowed
Casale Lilla is located in the hilly hinterland of central Italy, in the Marche region, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino. The farmhouse, dating back to the late 1800s, was built with local stone, handmade bricks, wooden beams, and a tiled roof. Its secluded location, at the end of a private country road, guarantees absolute peace and relaxation. It is completely surrounded by woodland and the deafening silence of lush nature. The private garden offers splendid views of the fortified villages of Sorbolongo and Barchi and the famous Furlo Gorges mountain range. You find yourself immersed in a small paradise, far from the world, yet from here you can reach the A14 motorway in 20 minutes, the Adriatic Sea with its sandy and pebble beaches in less than 30 minutes, and the central Apennine mountains in 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity are picturesque towns and fortified medieval villages perched on beautiful hilltops, with traditionally cultivated fields alternating with vineyards, olive groves, and deciduous and oak forests. We are located halfway between the Roman city of Fano, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, and the Renaissance university city of Urbino, nestled in the green hills. This is an increasingly rare form of provincial Italy, one that has remained connected to its past and its traditions, where time passes more slowly, where you feel safe and welcomed by simple, honest people, far from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism. Casale Lilla offers its guests two large, independent ground-floor apartments, each approximately 60 square meters, called "Glicine" and "Lavanda." Each apartment features two spacious double bedrooms with comfortable beds with toppers, a functional and fully equipped bathroom, and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with everything you need to cook your favorite dishes. A moka pot and espresso machine are a must, of course! The living room is equipped with a sofa, which can be converted into a double sofa bed for two additional young guests, satellite TV, and a small library. Each apartment can accommodate up to four adults and half a child, for a total of eight adults and two to four young guests. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape for a while, but if that's not possible, there's of course Wi-Fi available. All bedrooms have shutters, and all windows have mosquito nets. Each apartment also has its own private garden space, equipped with everything you need for outdoor dining or simply relaxing, reading, and sunbathing in the utmost privacy. Common areas include a large parking lot, also equipped with an electric charging station for hybrid or fully electric cars powered by the rooftop photovoltaic system, a laundry and ironing room, an outdoor structure for wood-fired cooking and pizza making, and a large barbecue for grilling on long summer evenings. And then there's the forest, with its tall oak trees reaching for the sky, where you can lose yourself, hide, meditate, or simply read in solitude with the music of nature in the background. From June to September, a small swimming pool surrounded by greenery is also available to guests. Pets are always welcome. From the Casale, you can set out directly on your bike, or simply on foot, for excursions in the woods or along the winding Marche provincial roads, which, who knows, might end at a nearby winery. Because, as everyone knows, you set out to climb mountains, but then you stop at the first restaurant! The owners of Casale Lilla live on the first floor and are always available for helpful advice, homemade jams and cakes, local products, and for those who want to have fun, they also offer authentic Italian cooking classes on the spacious terrace, which will surely end with a warm dinner at sunset! Come visit us, and we hope you enjoy the color lilac!
