Savour a sumptuous stay in this gorgeous barn conversion in the Norfolk coastal village of Blakeney. With a landscaped garden and views across the marshes from its upper level, this luxurious four-bedroom retreat sleeps eight guests and welcomes a four-legged friend. Within 200 metres of the quay, shops and restaurants, it is ideally located for long coastal walks and trips out to see colonies of grey seals.


Open the front door to find yourselves in a reception hall with a laundry area and WC. Stroll on through to the astounding, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its high vaulted ceiling, magnificent beams and striking staircase. Whip up fabulous feasts in here for your party to enjoy at the table. Spread out to play games, watch the Smart TV and listen to music. Light the wood burner during colder weather or pull open the garden doors in the summer. Those seeking a few quiet moments to themselves can steal off to the second lounge, where there is another Smart TV. Three of the bedrooms are at ground-floor level. These include a bunk bedroom, with 3’ single beds and an en-suite shower room; a king-size that can also be arranged as two 2’6” singles if requested at booking, and with an en-suite shower room, and a super-king that can be arranged as two 3’ singles. There is also a family bathroom. A super-king-size, with en-suite bathroom, is on the floor above. The garden is a wonderful extension to the barn in the summer months, offering space for outside dining and relaxation. There is space to store cycles and for two cars to park.


Head to the beach at Salthouse, 4 miles away, or Wells-next-the-Sea, 8 miles away, to go swimming, paddle and picnic together. Visit the charming, traditional seaside town of Sheringham, 9 miles away.
