About this property
A spacious, but cosy, traditional flint cottage within 2 mins walk to the beach
This traditional flint cottage is sure to provide a cosy retreat in the heart of Sheringham. The location is hard to beat - to the left head into the hustle and bustle of the main high street or go right to enjoy a refreshing walk along the seafront.
The front door leads you into the spacious dining room and modern kitchen and from there you pass the ground floor WC into the cosy lounge with log burner, especially for those cooler nights!
Steep stairs lead you to the first floor where you will find the bright and airy double bedroom, family bathroom - with bath and shower - and twin bedded room.
To the rear of the property is a south facing courtyard garden with table and ample seating together with atmospheric festoon lighting for those warm evenings.
Whilst there is no parking at the property, you can pull up opposite the property to unload and load. On road parking can be found on nearby streets or alternatively Cliff Road car park is close by with daily and weekly tickets available.
Sheringham is a beautiful seaside holiday destination which has kept a community feel. This is shown in many ways with the carnival team organising a range of fabulous events throughout the year from Viking to 1940's events. It boasts a fabulous local theatre, the Sheringham Shantymen and The PoppyLine steam railway and many coastal walks to name a few. There are great parks and play areas for children.
Sheringham and North Norfolk is one of the most dog friendly parts of the country with all year round access to beaches although restrictions are set on some beach areas throughout the summer months.

Hi I'm a carpenter from Milton Keynes
6 years ago we bought Lantern Cottage and have enjoyed putting some very unique features in. When you go on holiday we think it's great to stay somewhere completely different from your home so you really feel you are on holiday. We all love Sheringham and the cottage still feels amazing when we open the door. Its been great reading the guest book over the years to see lots of other families have also enjoyed our place by the sea too.

Why they chose this property
Sheringham is a great holiday destination, it's all on your doorstep. However Sheringham also keeps a great community feel, the locals are passionate about their town and that is clear to see. People still have time for one another, they know each other. How many places can say that in the UK?
What makes this property unique
You won't find another property even similar to our place! Not only that but it's often being added to, we haven't finished yet!! What is really great is you're 20 seconds walk from the town and 2 mins walk to the sea front!
