Carefully renovated for todays living."Dammstugan"-
where the family lived, who controlled the River Flow= of the Timber from the forest (used for the iron melting process) day and night. Apartment Size/ 50 m2. =
1 large kitchen with dining table and sofa+ 5 chairs. Refrigerator. Electric stove. and an old ironstove. 1 bedsofa in kitchen.
1 double bed in bedroom = place for 1-3 persons. Traditional fireplace for good heating in the bedroom, Hall and veranda In front of Entrance door. Beautiful garden with view to the river.
And view to the small castle on the other side of the river. No dogs or pets. Good car-parking for 1 car on the backside of the house.
Very easy to take the Stockholm direct SLbus 639 from Valhallavägen Stockholm. with many trips - everyday + From Stockholm, Arlanda Airport. Norrtälje -busses to the Boat to Finland.
In Skebobruk You can everyday buy sandwiches hot dogs hsmburgers cocacola ... in a kiosk by the bus stop - close to the House.

me who told many stories
about life and nature. Many in my family had emigrated to America. My family had experience from city life in Sweden and abroad. And great knowledge of life in the forest and hard heavy farmlife as well. This shaped my future and my life.
I have lived in Canada, in the US. Germany Great Britain. But also in East Europe, Africa.
And have studied as an Textile designer in the US, Banff school of Arts,Canada, Textile Design at Goldsmith College, London. Theatre Design in Prague, Film Design at the Dramatic Institute. Sweden.
Then, since many Years- as an production designer for Film and Television. and have made scenocraphy for Theatre and Opera in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen
I like being a host because I want to show this House to the world. With respect to the people generations before us.
Right beside, behind my house - You will find the Skebobruk Museum. Here You can read and see more of the history of Swedish and English Iron making.( It all started in the 15th century by Catholic Muncks from Belgium, Holland coming to develop iron, transporting timber from deep forests,using the many rivers for transport,export.)

Why they chose this property

I live in ,Stockholm. The farm of my childhood is far away from Stockholm.
It was difficult to travel there.
I just happened to see this AD
And was so surprised to see that they were selling this House on the ordinary market.
So I bought it! ... It is a job to fix and restore it.
But I think it is well worth it.
