This is a beautiful year round house/cabin with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 1 full kitchen & partial kitchen on lower level. 150 feet of shoreline, short 8 step elevation to water with dock. Winters are fabulous too! Hundreds of miles of trails within 1 mile! Easy access. This view is spectacular! Views from both sides of house. Hear the loons, swans, ducks & many more beautiful creatures.
Home is located on the Woman Lake chain just inside Girl Lake. 6,600 acres of lake for you to boat and fish. National Geographic voted Woman Lake the most beautiful lake in the world! Just 1 mile from town of Longville. Great shopping & restaurants. You can boat over to town to eat & drink. World famous Wednesday morning turtle races, The Woodpile , Mini Golf, Trails, Airport, coffee shop, grocery store & beautiful retail shops. Just 15 minutes from Hackensack for more shopping, movies and dining. Miles of trails accessed thru the Paul Bunyan Trail, Wood Tick Trail & Chippewa National Forest. Walker is just a short 25 mile drive. Northern Lights Casino, Famous Reeds Sporting Goods, tons of quaint shops & Chase on The Lake for fine dining. Piggy BBQ. The Woman Lake 6,600 acre chain has outstanding fishing for Walleye & Bass. 10 major fishing lakes within 10 miles of cabin if you want to take your boat & explore!
The main floor of the cabin has 1 larger bedroom, full bath, kitchen, dining area, large living area and walk out to the deck over looking the beautiful views of the lake.
The lower level offers 3 bedrooms, smaller living area, dining, kitchenette, full bath and walks out to the yard and lake. We have two other cabins (not on lake) for over flow rental.
Lift is not included. 1 boat can be tied up to dock space. Anything additional please inquire

Piece of paradise!

My husband and I stay here with our two adult married children in their spouses. Love the location - can boat into Longville to visit shops and have ice cream. Cabin has everything you need for a fabulous vacation.

It was a nice house, no problems. My only gripe is that the fees and cleaning fee were so expensive. I doubt that I'll rent a VRBO again.

Great family getaway!

We loved this cabin and its' location on the lake! It was so beautiful and peaceful! Plenty of room for everyone, everything we needed was at our fingertips in the kitchen! We will be back!

We all had a wonderful time at your cabin! You have thought of everything, I don't believe we lacked for anything! Loved the paddle boards, 2 living spaces, kitchen abundantly stocked, ceiling fans. Pontoon boat rental across the bay was a plus too. We will be back!

Beautiful House, Lovely Town!

Great house & it was so nice to be able to use the lake toys! The house was clean & perfect for our girls night. Property manager was easy to work with & very quick to respond to the few questions that we had. None of us had been to Longville before but we intend to come back!

March fishing trip with the buddies

Put 10 hours on the snowmobiles and some time in on the ice catching fish. It was a great location to be in for both. The stay was great, comfortable and all the amenities needed. Access to the lake from the property was not an option due to a 3-4 foot drop off at the shoreline, however there were other areas nearby. Every local we ran into was super friendly and more than willing to help with trail advice, fishing advice, or any other questions we had. Great location and house for a family or multi family trip as well if your an outdoorsman/lady. Would stay here again!

First rental we're renting again!

The weather didn't cooperate for much of our trip, but we had a great time anyway. There were places for us to squirrel away when we wanted alone time (or remote meetings time), and the living room was very comfortable for us. We also spent time on the deck outside, and on the chairs down on the grass. Even if it's too cold to swim, I need to remember to get out in the kayak right away. Clean water, clean and comfortable house, great time!

A last minute holiday getaway

Our holiday plans fell through at the last minute, and we decided we still needed to get away for a couple days. Jim and Rhonda were super responsive to our last minute request and we were so happy to spend some time just decompressing at their lovely lake home. The home was probably the most well maintained VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was very clean and had everything we needed (including a shovel to clear the steps and around our vehicles). Check in and check out was a piece of cake. We only spent two nights and weather (snow and wind) rolled in shortly after we got there, so we ended up holed up in the house most of the time. We did try to get out to try some local ski trails, but I think a combination of the holidays, plus the snow meant that even the roads to the trail heads hadn't been cleared. No complaints though. It was absolutely gorgeous. Next time we will plan a little further ahead and plan to spend more time exploring this lovely area.

4 Wheeling Weekend

Everything about this place is great except the home exterior. Several windows/soffet were covered in dead bugs & cobwebs from years past- thats all you literally see when you are doing dishes/looking out the window. This has clearly not been done for several years. The deck needs a power washing very badly also- has moss growing on it. The front door deck area is also in need of repair as its pulling away from the house & really not safe for anyone to use. The interior of the house was clean, musty smelling, but better after aired out for first night. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen & excellent space for a family! Could definitely use a smart TV in the basement-not just DVD & better toilet paper, but we managed. We did not use the lake, but it is beautiful and clean with lots of lilly pads. Has excellent outdoor space for yard games, bonfire area & parking with ATV trailers. We loved that it was close enough to the trails we could ride right from the house. All things considered we would definitely consider staying here again!

Fun Family Vacation

We have stayed at this property multiple times, and we have a great visit each time. The lake is fabulous, the cabin is clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We have always had a dream to own a cabin up north that we could fix up, use for our family and share as a rental. We co-own the cabin with a family member, Keith Peterson. The three of us did all of the work to improve and decorate this home for rental!
Jim & Rhonda live in Mound across from Spring Park Bay on Lake Minnetonka. Rhonda is a realtor with Edina Realty & Jim owns Pahl Exteriors, LLC. Keith Peterson is a retired pipe fitter living in St. Louis Park. All three of us grew up in Bloomington, MN.

Why they chose this property

We grew up going to our grandma & grandpa's lake property on Leech Lake most of our lives. Our grandpa was a Chippewa Indian born & raised on Leech Lake. He had a bay named after him called Bungy Bay! This area has a special place in our hearts.

What makes this property unique

When we purchased this property we wanted the lake and area to be full recreational. The Woman Lake chain & Longville provide this for all. You are secluded in nature but have access to everything you need with a 1 mile distance. The lake is full of all popular MN fish species that every one enjoys!
