The Nook is a beautifully restored Grade II listed holiday home in the heart of Petworth, recently and sympathetically remodelled to preserve its historic character while offering all the comforts of modern living. Original beams run throughout the house, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects the property’s heritage and charm. Thoughtfully designed interiors blend period features with contemporary touches, making the home both elegant and welcoming for a relaxed stay.

Access to the property is via a smartlock system, giving convenience to arrive whenever suits you. Instructions will be sent 48 hours prior to your stay.
The accommodation sleeps up to seven guests across three bedrooms and an additional sofa bed room. Upstairs, the principal bedroom features a superking bed and a private en suite shower room, while the second bedroom offers a comfortable double bed and the third is arranged with two single beds, ideal for children or friends sharing. These rooms are served by a stylish family bathroom with a separate shower and a beautiful freestanding bathtub, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The sofa bed room provides flexible extra sleeping space for one guest and can also double as a quiet office or study when needed.
Downstairs, the house is arranged for both sociable gatherings and relaxed downtime. The open-plan dining area comfortably seats up to eight guests and is ideal for shared meals and celebrations, with a convenient cloakroom located just off the dining space. The kitchen is well equipped and thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of cupboard space, a gas AGA cooker, a De’Longhi espresso machine and a wine fridge for chilled drinks. The living room is cosy and comfortable, centred around a gas fireplace for cooler evenings.

At the far end of the garden, a dedicated seating area beneath a pergola creates the perfect spot for outdoor dining, morning coffee or long summer evenings. Train: Petworth does not have its own railway station, the closest are Pulborugh and Haselmere. From there you can take a short taxi ride into Petworth.
