The cobbled streets of Durham City with it's stunning Cathedral, The World's Oldest Railway, Tanfield Railway, the pretty Medieval Village of Blanchland with it's Abbey founded in 1165. Drive just over and hour to the beautiful Northumberland coastal beaches and villages. Endless walking and cycling trails on the doorstep.
