Wonderful place in beautiful location
We had a great time on a working farm. Our cottage opened onto the farm yard and we were able to watch and become involved in the day to day work of the farm. The owners were very friendly and helpful. This was a great place to use as a base for seeing the Northumberland countryside.

Great spacious cottage on a lovely farm with all round views
Really spacious and well equipped cottage. A lovely place to stay to explore the area and walk some of Hadrians wall. Hexham and Corbridge are both lovely towns to explore nearby. Very dog friendly too!

A fantastic stay in a lovely cottage on a working farm.
We stayed for a week with our family + the cottage was well equipped to cope with my mobility problems as well as those of our family: age range 7 to 71! The cottage was clean, well decorated, had a downstairs wet room, ensuite bathrooms to the upstairs bedrooms, was light, spacious + was just as described. Great chocolate cake awaiting us on arrival! Our Grandaughters loved the ponies, being able to watch the Farrier shoeing them + talk to the sheep, lambs + hens. Bowling alley and table tennis

We converted the farm buildings more than 30 years ago and i have been running the B&B, hoilday cottage and small camp site since then. My daughter lives in one section of the barns with her family, so you may see ponies and dogs around too. The land is still farmed with a breeding flock of sheep, lambing is usually in March, this takes place in one of our large barns near the holiday accommodation so guests can view what is going on, by mid April all the ewes and lambs are out in the fields grazing the grass.
