The town boasts plenty of open spaces, particularly the Sele, next to the Abbey which is now a lovely public park. Well presented cottage perfect location for exploring hadrians walll
Dunkirk cottage provided us with all we needed for our holiday in Roman wall country.. well presented and cosy to come home to in the evening.. central heating instant for chilly evenings.
A bonus was the river walk to the George for an evening drink.close proximity to lots of Roman sites.owners dealt instantly with any issues that arose..thanks for perfect holiday accomadation.
