Llandeilo is fast gaining the reputation as a leading independent shopping and eating destination in Wales. There are many attractions in the area for visitors to enjoy, which include imposing castles, grand country houses, country walks and the National Botanic Garden of Wales with its giant glass dome, all offering great days out. Visit Carreg Cennen Castle and Aberglasney Manor or explore the National Trust heritage park of Dinefwr and Newton House, within walking distance, and situated amongst a tranquil 800-acre park with wild deer running free. For an adventurous day out, try walking the iconic ’Llyn-y-Fan-Fach’ (Lady of the Lake), which boasts fantastic views over the Brecon Beacons National Park amidst shimmering lakes and tumbling waterfalls.
