The interior features gleaming hardwood floors, stainless appliances, Huge Picture windows offering an awesome view of the land. Tastefully decorated with Antique furniture, the master bedroom boast a tiled walk in shower and a comfy King Size bed on the main level, upstairs offers 2 bedrooms and bath, kids play area stocked with games and toys. A bright and cheery Sun room for morning coffee, reading, relaxing or yoga, expansive outdoor decks surround with an open fire table and chairs for enjoyable relaxing evenings.

Great Weekend Location for Knoxville Wedding

Great Place

We really enjoyed staying here. Everything turned our very nice. Relaxing outdoors in the countryside, with the horses & goats so near, was a nice extra too. Plus downtown & UT were not that far away.

2 weeks of pure Heaven

Gorgeous,big,airy home with plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 dogs. The location was fabulous.Watching the horses run and play every day was mesmerizing. I loved the creaks in the old floors . The owner Christie is great.

UT college tour and concert

My daughter, mom and I stayed at The Yellow Teacup Cottage when we came to town for a college tour and a concert. The location was great and very convenient to Knoxville, without the hustle and bustle of city life. It was quiet, peaceful and the house was so cute! I can’t say enough about this place. This will definitely be our go to stay when we go to Knoxville!

This VRBO was absolutely amazing. The house was fully equipped with everything you would need. The property was beautiful and the outside space was perfect for an afternoon in the sun or an evening on the front porch to watch the sunset. Perfect for families and close to downtown Knoxville and a short drive to the Smokey Mountains.

Perfect for our UT graduation celebration

The cottage was spacious and perfect for our graduation celebration. In addition to the 6 of us who spent three nights we were easily able to include our daughter and her friends for dinner and socializing. The multiple rooms provided options to get away from our festivities when needed. Highly recommended

Cottage Gem

After a long day of traveling it was wonderful to be welcomed to the cottage by low lights and quiet music. We instantly relaxed on entering. The kids delighted in the goats and horses and in watching the birds at their feeder just outside the dining area windows. Our family enjoyed our time at this gem of a cottage, it’s proximity to Knoxville, and our time together.

Comfort and Cuteness

What an amazing seven day stay! We loved hanging out and watching the horses, squirrels and birds. Our 14 year old was in heaven giving the horses and goats their treats. Sitting on the porch in the evening, sipping on a glass of wine after a busy day of site seeing, was the perfect. We loved being in the country. Host is fabulous!!

Sister Vacation

Home was awesome. Easy to find. Does have an old house smell and creaky floors but you get used to it really fast. My sisters really enjoyed the horses. And we all loved the decor of the home. And the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a large meal. Although we were out and about so much we didn’t really have much time for dinners there. We all absolutely loved the home.
