We are excited to welcome you to Smithfield | The Heim, a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment located in Manchester's Northern Quarter. The property features a newly renovated open-plan layout with a stylish living and kitchen area, designed with charm & comfort in mind. This apartment sleeps up to 3 guests.
Kitchen & dining area
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. We offer a fridge freezer, single oven and grill, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, and toaster. We also offer complimentary Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, and salt & pepper. There is a 2-seater dining table - perfect for enjoying a meal together or for use as a workspace for those travelling on business.
Bedroom
There is 1 double bedroom fitted with blackout shades and a custom-built wardrobe with hanging space. The bedroom also features a dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi, making it ideal for business travellers or remote workers.
Bathroom
The bathroom features a shower, and we provide bath towels and hand towels, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel for your comfort.
Living area
The open-plan living area is a great space to unwind after a day exploring the city. It features a smart TV, comfortable seating.
Sofa Bed
A sofa that can be converted into a single sofa bed - ideal for a third guest. Depending on the number of guests booked on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team to arrange sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply. Smithfield | The Heim is located in Manchester's city centre district of the Northern Quarter - one of the city's most characterful neighbourhoods, known for its independent cafes, bars, restaurants, and creative scene. Piccadilly Gardens, the Manchester Art Gallery, and the Cathedral are all within easy reach, and numerous public transport options are close by for exploring further afield. Public street parking is available behind the building - charges may apply.
Good to know
As this property is located in a city centre apartment block, there is potential for noise from outside and from other residents within the building. The property features exterior security cameras outside the front door, monitored 24/7 for guest safety, as well as a Minut decibel sensor in the communal areas (this is not a recording device - it monitors sound levels only). Self check-in is available via smart lock, luggage drop-off is permitted, and long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome. Pets are also welcome at this property.

To get you settled in, we provide a starter pack of essentials including washing-up liquid, 1 washing machine capsule, a sponge, a dish cloth, and 2 bin liners.

Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.
In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete either a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250 or a £30.00 non-refundable damage waiver (Please note that the Damage Waiver option is not available for bookings placed within 24 hours of check-in, or for stays of 28+ days or more). This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. If you select the deposit authorisation hold, no monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.
Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

This property is located in the Northern Quarter. You can be Manchester’s central bar and retail district within walking distance. There is occasionally public street parking available on surrounding streets near to the building - charges may apply. Manchester Piccadilly Station is around 10 minutes walking distance.
Other Things to Note:
Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas. This property has no elevator - you will be required to take the stairs up to the first floor to access the apartment. We ask our guests to kindly respect our neighbours. We also encourage you to read our house rules for full transparency of our terms & conditions prior to booking - these can be found on our website. By booking your stay, you agree to abide to our terms & conditions.
Depending on the booked number of guests on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team who are on-hand to arrange a sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply. This home is pet friendly. If you wish to bring your furry friend(s), there will be a small flat rate fee of £20.00 which helps us cover the cost of the additional cleaning requirements post your stay.
