The Space:

The Braunston Lodge is a beautifully presented two-bedroom retreat set within the peaceful surroundings of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park.



With cosy interiors, a spacious living area and thoughtful finishing touches throughout, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy time together.



The fully equipped kitchen makes dining easy, while the soft furnishings and warm fireplace create a calming space to relax after a day exploring.



Sleeping up to four guests, the lodge features one double bedroom and one twin room, along with two modern bathrooms for added convenience.



Outside, the private terrace is complete with a bubbling hot tub, ideal for sunrise coffees or peaceful evenings under the stars.



Whether you're planning a quiet countryside escape or a family break surrounded by nature, The Braunston Lodge offers a welcoming, restful stay in a stunning parkland setting.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.

Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park enjoys a peaceful yet convenient location in the heart of Yorkshire, surrounded by countryside while remaining just a short distance from the historic city of York. Travelling by car is simple, with the park located just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and roughly a 25–30 minute drive from York. The A1(M) and A64 provide excellent connections for those arriving from further afield, and each lodge includes free on-site parking for easy access throughout your stay.



If you’re travelling by train, York Railway Station offers direct connections to London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From there, taxis and car hire options make reaching the park quick and straightforward. Bus services also run regularly between York and Pocklington, with the final stretch from Pocklington to the park taking only a few minutes by taxi.



Guests can explore local highlights such as Pocklington’s independent shops, cafés, and restaurants, or enjoy walks and bike rides through Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve nearby.
