What an incredible holiday house! We were a group with 6 adults and 6 children of mixed ages. We have stayed in this area before and love it. The house was truly outstanding. Exactly as described but even better than the pictures with a huge private garden almost like a forest! The pool is beautiful. Can’t recommend the place enough!

Family Holiday

The property is a very old rustic farmhouse with lots of character, as we expected from the photographs. It is very rural and quiet, just what we wanted. The swimming pool was lovely and the children really enjoyed playing in it. The garden is enormous with lots of places for the children to explore.

Family celebration

What a great venue, house and pool! Would recommend to a family/friends group. A well equipped kitchen. Bedlinen needed to be provided to fit the covers. We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, especially time by the pool.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette charmante et spacieuse demeure , sa très belle piscine dans son écrin de verdure, et aussi les repas sous l’ombre apaisante du vénérable tilleul! Un lieu idéal pour les amateurs de calme et de nature. Et la région offre de belles découvertes du patrimoine, des randonnées et des balades en canoë sur l’ Auvezère.

Cette maison dans son écrin de verdure est propice au repos. Elle est très bien équipée et aménagée. Idéale pour un séjour en groupe. Le seul petit bémol est la difficulté d'accès pour des personnes à mobilité réduite. Merci beaucoup

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans cette belle et confortable maison périgourdine. Le cadre est très calme avec de nombreux centres d'intérêt aux alentours. Par ailleurs, la maison est très spacieuse et bénéficie de nombreux équipements pour satisfaire petits et grands: piscine, terrain de pétanque, trampoline, table de ping pong...

Wonderful spacious property

We visited as a group of three families with teenagers (13 people total) for 8 days. The tieners occupied a gite while the adults occupied the main house. The houses were rustic, clean and well equipped. There is plenty of space and shade on the terrace and gardens, with an outdoor cooking area. There are extensive woodlands, gardens with fruit trees. We cycled extensively in the neighbourhood. There is a bakery 15 minutes cycle away and other shops and supermarket in nearby Exceduil. The only min point was effectively no wifi. We made do with sporadic 3G to get local info. Kids grumbled a bit at first because streaming is a no-go, but the great swimming pool, games and generally great environment meant that they quickly moved on! Mr Simon and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. They accommodated an extra member of our party without problem. They spoke English sufficiently that communication was fine. Bottom line: very highly recommended.

Très bonne semaine de vacances dans cette belle propriété avec vue sur la prairie et la forêt. Calme garanti. L'agencement de la maison est tel que l'on peut être à plusieurs familles en gardant son intimité. La maison est fraîche, même en plein mois d'aout. La piscine, très propre, est très agréable. Location à recommander.

Très belle propriété dans le Périgord

La maison est grande, très belle et bien aménagée. Une maison principale et une grande annexe. D'épais murs de pierre, de la place et beaucoup de charme. Le terrain est superbe, dans un vallon, jardin et forêt, plein de place. Là aussi beaucoup de charme. La piscine est grande, très bien placée, en contre-bas de la terrasse. Sa couverture permet de garder une bonne température. Pas de voisins, sauf un couple derrière mais très discret. Les propriétaires sont très serviables (réponse à nos questions avant de partir notamment) et agréables. Bref, une très bonne location !

Notre famille -adultes et enfants- a apprécié les grands espaces , le calme du lieu , la piscine bien entretenue , la superficie de la maison et un nombre de chambres qui ont permis à chacun d'avoir son intimité ... Les commerces environnants sont tout à fait suffisants et à proximité ; la région est magnifique ; de plus , nous avons eu une semaine ensoleillée ... Les propriétaires , sympathiques et accueillants , contribuent à l'organisation d'excellentes vacances . Je recommande ce gite !

Ûn seul mot: excellent!

Propriété superbe! La maison et la dépendance sont très bien décorées, en excellent état et très bien équipées: ustensiles de cuisines et vaisselle, télévision(s), chaîne hifi, jeux de société, livres et documents touristiques sur la région. Le terrain est immense, une partie pelouse et une partie boisée. La tranquillité est parfaite, la vue d'ensemble magnifique et malgré tout pas trop isolé, le supermarché est à moins de 5 kms. La piscine est très belle, reste chaude grace à la bâche rigide et est très bien entretenue (eau limpide et très peu chlorée). Avec la plancha à gaz, la table de ping pong, le trampoline, les vélos et les chaises longues, c'est un sans faute sur toute la ligne. Les enfants sont ravis. L'ensemble est tellement agréable qu'il faut se forcer à la quitter pour découvrir la région. Nombreuses balades possibles en partant directement de la maison. J'y retournerai avec grand plaisir!

Magnifique propriété pleine de charme.

Très belle Propriété parfaitement adaptée à des vacances en famille. La literie est excellente , la cuisine très bien équipée , l'ambiance chaleureuse et la déco très sympa . La piscine et les aménagements extérieurs sont de vrais espaces de jeux et de détente . Nous avons bien envie de revenir ! François et Martine
