Gites de la Baine: square house and fenestrous

Located in the center of a small hamlet, set back from the road, the property is made up of two character houses, one restored in a traditional style and the other in a contemporary setting.

During the weeks of July and August, these two houses can be rented in a single lot with the swimming pool in common. They are therefore ideal for spending holidays with family, friends, each keeping their independence with the possibility of time in common.

A large garden with trees surrounds the property. The swimming pool, very well exposed and surrounded by large stone walls, has no opposite,.
Spaces are provided for taking meals outside.

A hammock stretched between the trees is an ideal place for a nap.

Maison Carrée and Fenestroux are two spacious houses which offer their freshness in summer and the calm of the surrounding countryside.

They are a starting point to discover the region: typical villages, castles, caves. They offer many possibilities for hiking, cycling.

Great large family space

We had a great family 2 week stay. One house is a very rustic farmhouse the other a modernised property which is well appointed. The pool area was a great asset and kept the children occupied for many hours. The swing was also well used. The properties are in a quiet location but within easy reach of supermarkets etc. Recommend for a large group if you don’t mind the odd mouse.

Des vacances en famille qui ont fait l'unanimité, chez les enfants comme chez les adultes ! Le site, au calme dans un hameau, permet d'accueillir une grande famille grâce aux deux gites et à leurs espaces conviviaux. Tout est pensé dans un esprit intergénérationnel (et esthétique) qui correspondait parfaitement à ma recherche. La gentillesse des hôtes et la qualité de leurs gîtes sont remarquables. Le petit plus: le temps magnifique nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la grande piscine. La région est également très agréable, et l'on peut pratiquer de nombreuses activités .

Les deux gîtes sont très agréables, la vue belle et reposante, on se sent très bien dans cette location. La piscine et la table de ping pong ont fait un carton auprès des enfants (et pas seulement).

Amazing Property and great holiday for 12 members of our family

We loved both houses both of which exceeded our expectations. They were spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The swimming pool was great with toys and inflatables provided for the children. We also loved the large table in the pool area where we ate most of our meals. There were many shaded area around the garden which were needed because of the heat. Great hammock. We also really enjoyed the games room with table football and ping pong. We found the property ideal for our large party of 12 with plenty of space for everyone. We would recommend this property.

Super séjour en Dordogne !

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour ici. Les deux gîtes sont très grands et sont parfaits pour un long week-end entre amis ou en famille. Tout est très bien aménagé, les espaces sont grands et le jardin est très agréable (encore mieux l'été je suppose !). Encore merci !

les 2 maisons sont très agréables et idéalement situées l'une par rapport à l'autre pour les familles ou groupes nombreux. Equipements au top pour cuisiner à l'extérieur. Een plekje in de zon, de rust en het schitterende landschap van de Dordogne

De huizen liggen op een prachtige locatie. Wij waren er met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen en beleefden er - ondanks de hitte- een schitterende week. De eigenares is zeer joviaal en sympathiek. De fenestrous zelf is het laatst gerenoveerd en dit op een schitterende wijze. Het oudere huis dat dichtst bij het zwembad ligt kan een opfrissing gebruiken. Er is voldoende kookmateriaal, huisraad, huishoudtoestellen en speelgoed voor de kinderen. De tuin is een meerwaarde vooral in de heel vroege uurtjes als 's avonds. Een echte aanrader voor familiereünie.
