Surrounded by impressive views from the centre of the village, this lovingly restored cottage boasts a modern twist, under floor heating and exposed beams and stone walls, reminding those who stay of its intriguing past dating back to the reign of King George III.
Enter through the hallway into the beautifully designed open-plan living area sweeping right through to the French doors opening out onto the rear patio area, leading up to the pretty elevated garden. This light and airy space is simply ideal for family get together's seeking a touch of luxury deep in the heart of Wharfedale. The well-equipped kitchen featuring a large central island creates a fantastic social space before dining or better still leave the apron stings behind and wander along to one of the many eateries in the village.
Those seeking to dust off the walking boots and explore can make full use of the utility room and boot wash accessed via the kitchen. You can even enjoy the shower room adjacent to the kitchen, before freshening up in one of the three luxurious bedrooms on the first floor or simply soak and relax in the free standing bath in the family bathroom. Each of the three bedrooms are complimented with either a king, super-king or 3' twin beds (these can also be configured into a super-king at time of booking) and views across the village towards the hills that frame the river Wharfe.
Beckside is quite simply perfect for families, friends or those couples in search of something just a little bit special, you even have the All Creatures Great and Small filming locations down the road in Grassington. So pop into the Drovers for a pint or have your photo taken outside your favourite Dales vets, Skeldale House.
Additional Information: An initial supply of logs for both of the wood burning stoves is provided. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Children and infants welcome. Travel cots and high chairs available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot. Bespoke fitted stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. There are two EVCP in the village car park.
