Wake above the rooftops of Dalston and Stoke Newington in this light-filled penthouse sanctuary. With a sweeping wraparound balcony, skyline views and two serene bedrooms, the flat offers space to breathe in the heart of N16. Step out for coffee, parks, pubs and late-night music, then return home to calm, sky and soft light.
There’s something rather magical about being up high in London.
This penthouse sits above the hum of Dalston, wrapped in sky and light. The first thing most guests notice is the curve of windows in the living space — a gentle arc of glass that lets the day pour in. In the morning, it’s all soft brightness and rooftops; by evening, the city flickers quietly beyond the glass.
The living area is open and generous — a deep, comfortable sofa to sink into, a large dining table for long dinners or laptop mornings, and a kitchen that keeps everything sociable. I’ve stocked it with the essentials (and then some), so whether you’re cooking properly or just plating up takeaway from the Turkish ocakbasi down the road, it feels easy. You’ll find a welcome pack waiting: good tea, proper coffee, and a few thoughtful basics to help you settle in.
There are two bedrooms — calm, unfussy, and designed for real rest. The principal bedroom has a beautifully simple feel, with wide windows and plenty of storage. The second bedroom is equally peaceful, ideal for friends, family or colleagues travelling together. With two bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower, the other with a full bath), mornings are wonderfully civilised.
And then there’s the balcony.
It wraps around the apartment, giving you a full sweep of East London rooftops. It’s perfect for a quiet coffee, an evening glass of wine, or simply standing still for a moment above the city. You’re in central London, so there is some gentle street noise below — a reminder that life is happening — but up here it feels softened, almost distant.
This is a home that feels both connected and tucked away. A small sanctuary in the sky.
You have access to the entire property with no disruptions. Should a maintenance query occur, you will be asked permission first before we access the property to carry out a repair.
