Urbane and elegant, this two bedroom Clerkenwell home is a short walk to Farringdon Station. Secreted on a quiet lane, the flat is on the second floor of a period building and you will be surprised at how close you are to the whirl of the City.

This is the home of quality modern classics - Eames furniture, ancient olive trees, a very large roof terrace overlooking the courtyard of the Order of St John, Easop bathroom toiletries, and 1000 thread Egyptian linen.

Farringdon Station is under five minutes walk and is one of the best connected stations in London plus it is also only one stop to Kings Cross / St Pancras. The Barbican is up the road, Hatton Garden is around the corner and you can walk to St Paul's Cathedral in fifteen minutes. Clerkenwell has become the epicentre of London design and equally well known for gastronomy and night life. That said, on the weekend when the worker bees go home, the neighbourhood is delightfully peaceful.

Damage deposit
A security deposit to cover 'additional charges' including breakages, extra cleaning or further accommodation charges incurred during your stay. The damage deposit is refundable within two weeks after departure.

Our only wish was that the early March weather could have been a bit warmer so that we might have enjoyed that splendid back deck with the facade of the priory and its lovely garden right there. It was a fine flat, well located and most particularly attended to by gracious and understanding hosts.

A wonderful apartment in a great location!
I purposely rented this apartment to immerse myself in a quiet part of London, and this flat absolutely met my needs. The apartment was clean, quiet, and spacious. It was not full of clutter, and it was a comfortable place to be for 2 weeks. (a friend even stayed in the smaller bedroom for part of the time.) Everything you need is a short walk away, including restaurants, groceries, and the very convenient Farringdon Station (which is also on the Elizabeth line and goes to Heathrow.) Elinor was very helpful whenever I had questions. Despite being away from the touristy past of London, it was very convenient to visit all the major attractions, while offering a respite from the noise and bustle. I would definitely stay there again and strongly recommend it!

Great time in London
Great flat with terrific views of gardens. near a number of walkable quality restaurants. Beds were comfy but unfortunately the master bedroom is a little noisy with car traffic in the mornings. Kitchen has quality stuff but a little light on silverware and just quantity of dishes etc. have to wash every dish you use for next day use if have 3 people. Owner very responsive and gets back to you quickly with recommendations and response to any concerns. It is a great find!
