The " Vafis House" is located on the main street of the village of Sivas, a vibrant, picturesque traditional village in southern Crete which is very close to some of the most beautiful beaches of southern Crete. The view from the house is very beautiful and very picturesque both towards the village and the surrounding mountains. We recommend staying at the "Vafis House" to enjoy a relaxing holiday and live true Cretan hospitality.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to prepare breakfast and/main meals. There is a 12 sqm balcony off the master bedroom which over looks the road and has mainly shade during the day.
The huge external patio is accessed from the kitchen and from the second bedroom. You can sit here and enjoy the sun, or shade and sunsets.
The apartment is accessed from the street up a stone staircase so not suitable if you are unsteady on your feet.

The whole place is yours for the duration of your stay. The owner lives downstairs and is out at work all day.There is space for free parking.

Sivas is a traditional stone village with a popular village square which has mini markets, tourist shops, tavernas, cafes, church, butchers shop. Sivas is located 8km from the nearest town of Moires and also 6km from several beach resorts (Matala, Kalamaki, Kommo), and easy driving access to local areas of interest. Driving is essential if you want to explore in detail, otherwise, cycling between the local villages can be invigorating, there are local taxis and a local bus service. Also, if you enjoy walking, the countryside is beautiful for walking between places.
