I will start by saying the communication with the host was good, however the place was not as the other reviews portrayed it to be. I would hope for an honest review, so I will give that. Upon arrival there was burnt out lights, unkept floors and a very strong smell of a smoked in home and the walls were dusty and had paint chips throughout. The owner said she was there a day prior and the floors were cleaned, and there was no smoking, however I have photos that prove different. There was burn holes in the bedding and stains on the bedding, (they were washed) but not nice to arrive to stains and holes. There were stains on every towel and some had holes in them as well. The beds were all bagged out, and not comfortable. This is not a review for the host as she had good communication, but I would have appreciated an honest review of the home before I booked.

Better lighting would be great, and we couldn't find a plug for the kitchen sink, or tea towels for drying dishes. Overall, a very nice, clean place and we enjoyed our stay.

Not impressed at all. In Edmonton on business and had to bring our two young kids and nana for five days. First we were promised early check-in but that was changed the night before we were driving there. There was no front porch light. The neighbors had music loudly playing through the wall. For our stay of five days with three adults and two children There is no cable only Netflix. There were only three pans with all the handles lose and ready to fall off. Three cooking utensils, one tea towel, one cloth. The fridge dripping water. (Messaged the home owner but they didn't seem concerned) The garbage holder was screwed into the door below the sink with screws the sink cupboard sticking out.(we have kids) had to cover with tape. There were only six towels. Our stay was for five days. (Not nearly enough towels) the plugs in the bathroom didn't work for my hair straightener nor could I reset the power. There were only two bulbs out of six that worked for light. There was only a gross cloth fabric shower curtain. The bed were terrible you could feel every single spring. The sheets are 100%polyester. And as thin as air. Terrible. There weren't any extra sheets or blankets. Carpet was unexceptional and should be replaced. (It had holes in it) not what I liked my daughter crawling on so we had her in a playpen the whole time. It also snowed while we were there and the front mat was the size of a slice of bread. Water all over the place we had to use a towel for the floor to prevent our own socks from getting wet and runing their floors. This was a terrible stay and I'll be glad to be home. I'll never rent another VRBO. This was my first time and it sucked.
