The Neighborhood:

This town is the unofficial capital of the Llyn Peninsula which is one of the most scenic parts of Wales, renowned for scenery, walks, beaches and golf courses. This town offers shops, pubs and restaurants and a marina holding 400 boats. The town boasts two beaches, one with the Blue Flag Award and is renowned for sailing and watersports. Close by are Criccieth, with its castle, and Abersoch, a harbour town also renowned for beaches and watersports. Much of the peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a lot of the coastline is owned by the National Trust providing bays, sandy beaches and clifftop walks, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island.
