Fabulous property, really well arranged house. The only real problem we had was that my two sons are tall, 6ft2 and 6ft4. They need beds without footboards (they had their partners with them, if they had been alone they could have slept diagonally in the bed) but those beds were in rooms with sloping ceilings. The landing and bathroom ceilings on the attic floor are particularly dangerous for the tall. They did bang their heads regularly inspite of me suggesting they went about on their knees up there. Perhaps you could move the beds without footboards to the rooms with high ceilings?
One more thing, lovely olde worlde dining room but no serving dishes so we had to have the saucepans on our beautifully dressed birthday meal dining table.
Otherwise a really wonderful stay.
I can't think of one negative.
The location is great. There's a convenience store a short walk down the road, which sells a variety of stuff and there's a pub near to that, which we had a lovely meal at. There's a hotel directly opposite the property , which did a fabulous Sunday carvery. And the beach is a ten minute walk away. We ended up walking all the way to Cromer pier and then decided to get a bus back (which was simple enough from the bus interchange).
The property had 7 lovely bedrooms, and the beds were all very comfy. There was 4 bathrooms and the showers were great. I slept on the top floor and the rainful shower in that bathroom was fabulous. They also had lovely big baths, perfect if you've been out for a long costal walk. The lounge has enough chairs for everyone, as does the dining room (which has great character). We spent a majority of our time though in the breakfast room off of the kitchen. This also had a table which we all could sit at as well as a couple of couches and a lovely view of the garden. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.
We were pleasantly surprised to find some board games and jigsaws, which were perfect for a quiet afternoon.
My family and I all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the property.
