About the host

I’m from North Norfolk, having lived here for all but 6 months of my life. I enjoy walking my dog watching rugby and a bit of fitness if my body allows it
Why they chose this property
Hindolveston is a lovely quiet village that I moved to in 1993. It has a thriving village hall, a wonderful farm shop and is a truly friendly place to call home
What makes this property unique
Carwood house used to be the Red Lion pub. It has a wealth of original features, including two working inglenook fireplaces, an Elizabethan window, oak beams and even an old pair of shoes which we discovered under the hearth during its renovation!
It’s a property that has a really welcoming feel to it. We call it a happy house, where people have come to meet and enjoy others company for hundreds of years.
Situated in about a half acre of garden it has space aplenty, whether you’re inside or out. The garden is private and secure for pets, plus it has the added bonus of a smokeless fire pit to enjoy the sunset from.
Add to that the gym, stocked with commercial grade equipment and you have a truly unique property to enjoy your stay at
