The Neighborhood:

The Royal Burgh of Culross is the birthplace of St Mungo, founder and patron saint of Glasgow. This lovely little village, with cobbled streets, is situated on the northern shores of the Firth of Forth making it perfect for walkers and cyclists exploring the Fife Coastal Path. There is a friendly pub, several cafes and wonderful attractions to explore, including Culross Palace in the centre of the village. With beautiful gardens and reconstructed period features, you can really get a feel for what life was like in the palace in the 17th and 18th Centuries. Overlooking the village is Culross Abbey and in nearby Dunfermline, you can explore the popular 76-acre Pittencrieffe Park, with its resident peacocks and beautiful Art Deco pavilion. The park plays host to several fun, annual events including the Bruce Festival and firework displays! Dunfermline was once the capital of Scotland, and it has a majestic, imposing Abbey and Palace of its own, as well as a treasure trail and plenty of shops and eating places to enjoy. You can also easily reach Stirling, Glasgow or Edinburgh, making Culross an excellent holiday destination!

Beautiful house and town

We absolutely loved this property and the town. Prior to reserving and after I had sent messages through the app asking a question but never received an answer. This could have been a technical glitch. I wouldn't let that keep you from staying here. We would stay here again if we get the opportunity to come back to Scotland.

Host cancelled and haven't received a refund

We tried to stay here, the host asked for payment off platform after I had paid a deposit through VRBO. After I didn't pay off platform they cancelled the booking. I have requested a refund and they have not replied in any way. Do not book with this group.
