We absolutely loved this property and the town. Prior to reserving and after I had sent messages through the app asking a question but never received an answer. This could have been a technical glitch. I wouldn't let that keep you from staying here. We would stay here again if we get the opportunity to come back to Scotland.
We tried to stay here, the host asked for payment off platform after I had paid a deposit through VRBO. After I didn't pay off platform they cancelled the booking. I have requested a refund and they have not replied in any way. Do not book with this group.
