Stunning, light, loft apartment full of character on the 6th floor (with new elevator) of an early 20th Century block in the Jonction area of Geneva.

Beautiful wood beams and copious plants make this a perfect oasis above the city with views of the river Rhône from the bedroom and the Alps and Salève mountain from the front.

Fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower.

Modern, bright mid-century modern living area and bedroom suitable for one to four people to stay.

Tram 14 from a few steps outside the apartment takes you into the city centre in 5 mins and the train station in around 10 minutes. You can walk along the river to the side of Lake Geneva in around 15 to 20 mins.

The UN is around 15 minutes away on bus 11.

In the Jonction area there are 3 supermarkets and Lebanese, Italian, Mexican, Indian, French/Swiss and Portuguese restaurants within a 5 minute walk or less from the apartment.

I love my apartment and am happy to share it with visitors to Geneva when I am away.

Jonction is the place where the Rhône and the Arve meet on the west side of Geneva, but it’s also the place where locals meet up in the summer to bask along the water’s edge.

On the south side of the neighbourhood, the Bois de la Bâtie forest delights kids with its animal park and adults with stunning views, walking and cycling paths.

Jonction is conveniently located only 15 minutes walk from the shores of Lake Geneva along the River Rhône.

On the doorstep is the best of the city - with supermarkets, transport links and restaurants - and the best of nature with the Rhône flowing past and a quiet forest only minutes away.

The apartment can sleep 2 people in a (140 x 190) double bed in the bedroom and another 2 if necessary on a high quality air bed in the living area. Please let me know if you need the airbed when booking.

NB. The apartment has a spacious loft feel and there are no doors between the bedroom and the living area

My only rule is to leave the place as you found it. If you need to unplug something please plug it in again before your departure. Please don't move furniture about. I'd rather you didn't smoke but if you must please stand next to an open window in the living room. You can enjoy a view of the Salève that way too.
