About the host
Hosted by June Wolfe
Your hosts Clive and June moved to this beautiful Cortijo from Cambridge, UK in 1999 . Over the years we have worked tirelessly to provide a beautiful, relaxing space for our guests
Why they chose this property
The farmhouse is nestled in stunning mountain scenery with olive groves, streams and pine trees. It's perfectly positioned for site seeing and exploring most of the major towns and cities, being a 10 minute drive from the motorway. We love the peace and quiet, bird song and wild flowers and the constantly changing scenery from season to season.
What makes this property unique
What makes our place truly special is the sense of peace you feel the moment you arrive. Surrounded by nature, with no busy roads or crowds, it’s a space where you can genuinely slow down, breathe, and switch off from everyday life.
Wake up to birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee overlooking olive groves and mountain views, and spend your days immersed in the outdoors. The setting is calm, private, and deeply connected to nature, perfect for anyone looking to recharge.
Animals are part of everyday life here, especially our horses. They bring a unique, calming atmosphere to the property and create a memorable experience, even for guests who have never spent time around animals before. Watching them, being near them, or simply knowing they’re part of the surroundings adds something truly special to your stay.
The heated pool (available from approximately late March to the end of October) means you can enjoy swimming well beyond the peak summer months, while both private and shared outdoor spaces give you the freedom to relax, read, or dine outside in complete tranquillity.
Despite the peaceful, rural setting, you’re far from isolated. Shops, restaurants, and the local village are just a few minutes away, and you have easy access to the motorway for exploring Andalusia, including Málaga, Granada, and beyond.
This is not just a place to stay, but a place to reconnect with nature, reset your pace, and experience a more relaxed way of living.
