About this property

Mirror Cabin · Hot Tub & Sauna · Anglesey

Summary:

A design-led mirrored cabin for two where wellness is a ritual rather than a feature. Slow down as you light the wood-fired hot tub, unwind in the shared sauna, and awaken your senses beneath the cold shower. Floor-to-ceiling glass blurs the boundary between indoors and out, reflecting and amplifying the ever-changing landscape. Set within the peaceful Anglesey countryside, this secluded retreat invites you to reconnect with nature, stillness, and each other.

The Space:

The Space:

Wrapped in mirrored glass, Morlo reflects the open countryside it sits in, fields, weather, the slow drift of clouds. It is a cabin for two: pared back and considered, with a king sized bed surrounded by views of nature, underfloor heating, air conditioning, rainfall shower in the ensuite and a small kitchenette for unhurried light meals.

The heart of a stay is outside. The wood-fired hot tub takes a few hours to come up to temperature, and that is the point, it asks you to slow down, to potter, to fire up the barbecue and let the evening arrive on its own time. Steam rises as you settle in under a wide sky; the sauna and cold shower complete the contrast. Sleep comes deep and easy here. In the morning coffee in hand, with only birdsong outside.

Morlo, Welsh for seal, is named like its sister cabins for the wildlife of the island.

The walk may not suit guests with certain mobility or access requirements, please ask us before booking if you're unsure, and we'll gladly advise.

The Neighborhood:

Ynys Môn | Isle of Anglesey

Anglesey is known for its unspoilt coastline, open landscapes and slower pace of life, much of it protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The island boasts a rich diversity of plant and animal life, and its famed Coastal Path circles the shoreline, revealing clifftop walks, quiet coves and wide sandy beaches at every turn.

Our ÖÖD Mirror Houses at Nook & Key Escapes in Y Glyn sits at the cultural heart of Anglesey, just outside Llangefni.

Nearby highlights include:

- Llanddwyn Beach (Newborough Forest): sweeping sand dunes, pine forests, and iconic island lighthouse views

- Rhosneigr: surfing, kitesurfing, and a lively coastal feel

- Red Wharf Bay: its vast tidal sands and a waterside pubs

The island is a playground for water lovers, with kayaking, paddle boarding, coasteering, sailing, rib rides, and wild swimming all easily accessible.

Historic Beaumaris and its medieval castle are a short drive, and RIB trips run from the Menai Strait to Puffin Island for seals and seabirds. Menai Bridge brings an appetite for Anglesey’s seafood; the local lobster is quietly famous. Across the bridge, Eryri (Snowdonia) opens up. Yr Wyddfa, glacial lakes and mountain paths.
