U2 Loft at the Riverside Watermill

Summary:

One of the three independent lofts in a 300‑year‑old watermill where the band U2 once stayed, set on the banks of the River Coura. Stone, wood, and flowing water create a unique Minho‑region experience: a private river beach, restored interiors, and space for 4 guests. Just 5 km from Caminha and 10 km from the Atlantic. Ideal for a special nature getaway.



The Space:

The most intimate space in the watermill complex — a mezzanine studio built above the old mill race, where you can hear the river flowing beneath. One queen bedroom on the upper level, compact bathroom, and a small sitting area.



Original granite and timber construction, Wi-Fi, heating. Access to shared gardens, BBQ area and the private river beach path.

Vilar de Mouros: quiet riverside village in Minho. River Coura swimming in summer. Caminha (5 km), Atlantic beaches (10 km), Porto airport (90 km).
