Gorgeous 3500 sf riverfront home on 3 lush acres with tropical landscaping. You will have use of the private dock and lift and can boat from our place out to the Gulf. This one of a kind brick ranch style home is perfect for those that value privacy, love the water, enjoy gardens, and desire space inside and out. Traditional style one story home has enough space to host a larger family or group. There are 2 ensuites with beautiful private baths (4 total bedrooms), 2 living areas (one has queen sized sofa bed), 2 eating areas inside, one outside) heated pool and jacuzzi with lovely very large screened in area overlooking the river. There are a total of 5 big screen smart televisions. The beauty of the Little Manatee River is nicely captured from many rooms inside the house through lots of windows. One of the master suites has its very own private sitting room and a very large marble bathroom with a large jetted soaker tub, makeup desk, double sinks with quartz countertops and a large marble shower. All beds throughout the house get raving reviews for comfort.

You will enjoy gorgeous sunrises as well as sunsets over the river. You may see dolphins, manatee, tropical birds, jumping fish, and other wildlife from the master bedroom, family room, breakfast nook, pool area, or while sitting on the dock. The dining area has an electric fireplace for a relaxing ambiance. The French doors lead to a wonderful outdoor Mecca with a lovely heated pool and jacuzzi, both with waterfalls, multiple seating areas, a large eating area, a gas fire pit, and a very nice large gas grill. There is a long palm lined ashphalt driveway with lovely tropical landscaped yard and beautiful night time lighting, suitable for royalty. We have 3 kayaks and one paddle board you can launch onto the river. This is a perfect place for the fisherman, outdoor lover, boater, and nature seeker. Many memories will be made here. You will not be disappointed in this truly beautiful Florida property...bound to surpass your expectations, guests frequently say the photos truly don’t do justice to this amazong one of a kind place. Relaxing

Bestiful home on the water

This house is actually more besutiful than the pictures portray. The property was not only beautiful but relaxing. My husband loved walking to the backyard to throw a line in everyday.,as i relaxed at the incredible pool. It was a perfect home for our family. The hosts were accommodating and gracious people. We will definitely be back.

Natural beauty

If you love nature as much as our family this is the perfect spot for you.Wildlife abounds just look and listen and keep those binoculars handy.The pool lanai was our favorite spot to hang out even during tropical storm Nicole(.yes we got the full Florida experience).Thanks to the owners for responding quickly to any concerns we had.2 weeks wasn’t long enough Enjoy

We all loved our stay

Stayed Dec 28-Jan 9, 2023. Very nice private property. The kitchen had all of the essentials plus much, much more. All of the beds were very comfortable. It was perfect since it was our family Christmas together and the house was even decorated for holiday season. Plenty of room for the six of us. Beautiful sunrises, very nice pool and jacuzzi, and the lanai was terrific - spent most of our time outside on the patio. My husband caught nine catfish from the dock and we saw several dolphins from the dock. Would absolutely book again if we're traveling to the area.

Home away from home

We absolutely love the accommodations, the pool, the grounds, the view... everything! The house is stocked with anything you could possibly need. We immediately felt like we were in our home away from home. The beds are super comfortable with super cozy linens, the large screen TVs were readily available seemingly at every turn (even at the pool), and the kitchen was fully stocked with every tool you could possibly need to cook any type meal. The hosts were very communicative and hospitable, providing a very clean, homey, and relaxing environment. We truly appreciate Bob and Jackie opening their home to us and for giving us such a wonderful 17th anniversary trip.

Paradise on earth!

This was the most beautiful property the yard was beautiful with lots of plants and trees and critters. They have a huge turtle who lives on the premises, and eagle and hawks. We enjoys beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. The owners Jackie and Bob were super people they came and showed us all the special features of the home. It had every convince imaginable. It was close to church and grocery stores. I have several happy men who enjoyed fishing off their dock. And swimming in the pool was great also.

I sadly lost my Mother 2 days before this trip which had been booked for a while. What an amazing, soul soothing property!!!!!!! I had no idea how amazing this home would be absolute paradise, a break from these hectic lives we lead daily. Waterfront Paradise

We stayed at this property from August 21-28, 2021. Upon entering the home through the front door, you immediately see the Manatee River through two large sliding glass doors. To your left are the four bedrooms. My husband and I stayed in the main master suite which was indeed a suite. My husband loved his pillow and I loved the softness of the sheets. My sister and her husband stayed in the second master and raved about the quality of their pillows. To the right of the front door is the great room equipped with a fireplace, large TV, a leather couch and two leather chairs. Through the great room is the kitchen with top-line appliances, the dining room and a kitchen seating area. There are windows everywhere allowing for views of the Manatee River and enclosed lanai. The lanai consisted of an inground pool, whirlpool, four loungers, a large table with very comfortable seating, a couch, chairs, fire pit, large TV, rafts, fishing equipment, towels, a large gas grill and a smoker. To sum up the quality of the lanai, we spent at least 95% of our waking hours outside including all meals. Half of the lanai is covered which was awesome as the one afternoon it stormed with high winds and lots of rain, we were able to sit under the covered section and observe the storm. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at this property and hope to return in the future. Check in was simple, enter the code, walk through the front door. The owner's son, Brandon, contacted us via phone the evening we checked in, walked us through different aspects of the property and requested we call with any questions or concerns. We did not hear from him again which was perfect. The owner of the home texted us a couple of times throughout our stay, once to say she had an order coming from Amazon, what it was and that we were welcome to open the box and use the item. She also contacted us the morning we checked out to ensure we had exited the property and to thank us for staying. We had ZERO problems during our stay but feel that if we did, we could easily get ahold of Brandon or Jacquelyn, the owner.

The perfect stay for some river adventures. Kayaking, fishing, bird watching and a heated pool. Amenities galore in this secluded quiet neighborhood. And the hosts, Bob and Jackie, are wonderful and very attentive to your needs. I highly recommend this beautiful home for your next vacation.

Peace and Quiet

Had a great week, with lots of pool time, fishing from the dock, and multiple dolphin sightings. Even caught some blue crab in the trap!!! The house was great and the ac was cold!!! Enjoyed the large master bedroom and bath. Jackie and Bob answered our questions with a quick response even when they were on an Alaskan cruise.

Great family vacation.

The property is lovely with beautiful landscaping. The view of the river is amazing. The hosts were very accessible and have tried to think of everything. The pool and lanai were spectacular and a special feature of the home. We had a great time relaxing and catching fish (right from the dock).

Fantastic for Families Seeking Time Together and Relaxation

This comfortable home is thoughtfully equipped for families, especially those who enjoy cooking. We loved spending time in the kitchen and sourcing fresh ingredients from Detwiler’s Farm Market—it’s a must-visit for seafood and baked goods. The pool and hot tub were highlights of our stay, offering serene views of the Manatee River and a chance to watch a movie together from the pool on the outdoor TV. We even spotted dolphins several times just off the back dock. The property’s remote location adds to its charm—it’s peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to multiple airports (just 30-45 minutes away). Beautiful Property, Wonderful Stay

The property is as advertised. It was an absolutely fantastic place to get together with my family. Some of the most beautiful Blue Crabs I have ever seen caught right off the dock. 5 stars all the way. Only on drawback to anything was the grill but we figured that out too. The holders to the flavor bars have rusted out and are gone so the bars sit on the flame keeping the grill from getting hot, made a small adjustment making the flavor bars slightly caddie corner to keep them above the flame, and boom hot grill and easy cooking!!

Beautiful house and location

The house was bigger than it looked online and so nice. The beds were very comfy and cozy. The views were amazing. The pool was super enjoyable for everyone. We had my cousins over several times during our stay and they were also amazed by this vacation home. Jackie and Bob were really friendly, easy to get a hold of and were there to meet us upon arrival to show us around and show us how some things worked including the induction stove top. Not a lot of places to eat that were really close buy there was a few not that far away including the Lazy Gator which is a must if you stay at this home. Overall we had a great time at this home and will definitely be back.

A slice of heaven!

This amazing property is a slice of heaven! Everything you need at your fingertips! From relaxing to fishing off the pier to swimming in the pool, our family enjoyed every moment! If you are a fisherman, we caught sting ray, shark, snapper, catfish, lady fish, and a few other species! Dolphin almost everyday! Highly recommend for family fun!! The owners were amazing and very welcoming!

Family gathering

FABULOUS MONTH WITH FRIENDS IN A BEAUTIFUL SETTING !

It’s hard to know where to start. We spent a month with friends at Bob and Jackie's riverside home. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with every imaginable appliance with plenty of cookware and supplies. The heated pool and hot tub were an exquisite treat every day, the peaceful setting on the river was relaxing, and everything is there for a fabulous vacation at home away from home. Did I mention regular dolphin sightings from the living room and lanai? Or, seeing sunrise colors across the sky while working at the desk in the master bedroom? To top it off, communication with Bob and Jackie was seamless – they were always available to help with information on area activities and questions about the numerous amenities their home offers. Throughout the month, several friends visited for long weekends, and we created countless memories cooking out by the pool, watching movies, and playing board games at the large dining room table. Of note is a nearby private community (Riverside) with a golf club and restaurant - both available to the public. There are pickleball courts at Apollo Beach (about 20 minutes away) and a fitness center within about 20 minutes (WORX) that we joined for the month. We recommend Bob and Jackie’s home for family reunions, groups of friends, sibling trips, etc.

Quiet Remote Getaway

We had a very relaxing stay. So quiet and away from the busy city.. But not so remote that you cant get to a grocery store or restaurants within 10 minutes. The house has pretty much everything you need. We stayed during the first week of December and the home was decorated for Christmas, even down to the dishes and cups. The temps dipped into the low/mid 70s and the heated pool/hot tub was perfect. Beautiful home. We look forward to going back.

Beautiful and Peaceful Retreat

This lovely home will not disappoint. Water, wildlife,super clean and extremely well equipped, this property exceeded our expectations. I like to say we've been spoiled by each of our VRBO hosts, but Jackie and Bob take it to another level. They literally had a tech out hours before our check in to ensure that everything was up to their standards. We focused on health and wellness for our anniversary and could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. Truly a hidden gem.

Outstanding accomodation

Pictures dont do justice to this gem, it is located on the water with a spectacular view every room was superb and all beds were reported comfortable. Great lanai and pool area, great place to entertain. Quiet neighborhood gracious hosts let us check in early, everything was exceptional.
