About this property

Cosy but spacious Peak District cottage, close to Chatsworth House.

Thatch End is a part-thatched cottage dating, in parts, back to the 17th Century, once being part of the nearby Chatsworth Estate.

​Despite its cottage appearance, it offers surprisingly spacious accommodation making it ideal for families but also cosy enough for a quiet couples break.

Having been in the same family from when it was originally purchased from Chatsworth, it has been sympathetically refurbished.

​Wherever possible, original features have been exposed or reinstated which have been integrated with the needs of modern living.

​Entrance to the property is off a private footpath, which leads to Chatsworth House (approx 1 mile)
The house comprises : Spacious hallway, small but fully equipped kitchen with adjoining large dining room. There is a separate comfortable lounge area. There is also a downstairs W.C.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
The cottage has an enclosed back garden and private parking space.
Pubs and eateries are in walking distance
