Architect-designed house near Dyngby Beach

Welcome to our architect-designed holiday home at Dyngby Strand. We've placed the house close to the beach at the end of a quiet side road, undisturbed in an enclosed garden with a small protected forest as its neighbour and a view of the open fields. This is where we go ourselves when we need to slow down and get closer to nature.



We've clad the house in Canadian cedar, which blends naturally into the surroundings. Inside, wood panelling and Norwegian Alta slate create a warm and serene atmosphere that extends throughout the entire house.



The living room features three-metre-high ceilings, and the large panoramic windows let in plenty of light and bring the landscape right inside. They bridge the gap between indoor and outdoor life, offering space for long mornings, a fire in the wood-burning stove, and time spent together without any big plans.



In the garden, you’ll find terraces on multiple levels and a large lawn that’s perfect for outdoor games and play, while you can also relax in the sauna and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. From here, you can also take in the 180-degree view of the fields, and the outdoor shower’s ideal after a session in the sauna or a dip in the water. It’s just a five-minute walk along the paths to the child-friendly and secluded beach. The area offers great walking trails, cosy restaurants and specialty shops. If you’re in the mood for a day in the city, Aarhus is only 35 minutes away, with restaurants, art museums, shopping and city life.
