Located midway between Morecambe and Blackpool, just 8 miles south of Lancaster and close to the M6, Wyreside Lakes and Fisheries is a peaceful yet fun-filled destination for a family break. Set at the foot of the beautiful Bowland Fells, it's the perfect place to spend quality time together—whether that's relaxing on site, enjoying a spot of fishing, or heading to the coast for a day at the beach, less than 30 minutes away. With six well-stocked fishing lakes, children and beginners can experience the excitement of catching their very first fish.
The site offers a choice of accommodation, including six pods ideal for small families, as well as a static caravan with its own secure garden. There's plenty to keep children entertained, including an outdoor play area and open spaces to run around and explore. During weekends and selected school holiday dates, the licensed bar hosts regular entertainment such as live music and themed events. Guests can also make use of the on-site shop and laundrette. Please note the site is reserved for families and couples only—stag and hen parties are not permitted.
The pods are conveniently located close to the fishing lakes, play area and toilet/shower facilities, and are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Inside, each pod includes a handy kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and kettle, while outside there's a small patio area with a picnic bench and fire pit—perfect for family evenings together.
Sleeping up to four, the pod features a double bed along with twin beds suitable for children under 15. Guests have shared use of the nearby toilet and shower block.
Electricity and bed linen are included; please bring your own towels. One well behaved dog welcome. Parking for one car.
