Bastide Village Retreat in Montfaucon

Located in the heart of the 13th-century English bastide of Montfaucon, Causalis is an authentic light-stone house offering a refined blend of history and modern comfort. Situated within the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park—a UNESCO Global Geopark—this 65 m² residence provides a privileged starting point for exploring the unspoilt landscapes of the Lot region. The house is thoughtfully arranged over three levels, featuring a fully renovated open-plan kitchen and a welcoming lounge on the ground floor, perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling or hiking.

The upper floors are dedicated to peaceful rest, accommodating up to four guests across two comfortable bedrooms and a modern, renovated shower room. While the house preserves its historic character, it includes contemporary essentials such as free Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Although there is no private garden, guests have access to a small green space directly in front of the house, offering an unobstructed and tranquil view over the local body of water—an ideal spot for an outdoor breakfast or evening drink.
