La Pinay is located in the idyllic countryside of Lacave (located between Rocamadour and Souillac). The small house is on a cliff dug in the rock and decorated with a mixture of flea market and modern elements. The terrace, the jacuzzi (available all year round with additional charge) and the garden offer a magnificent view of the valley.

HOUSING
The small house is composed of 3 floors equipped: wifi, heating, air conditioning and a fireplace.

On the ground floor is the kitchen, the dining room, the shower room. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a fridge with freezer, a coffee maker, a Nespresso machine, a kettle, a toaster, a stove with oven and a set of kitchen utensils. of dishes.

On the 1st floor is the living room with: flat screen TV with satellite channels, wood burning stove, desk and a selection of books in English and French for adults and children as well as toys.

On the 2nd floor is the bedroom which can accommodate 3 people. There is a queen size bed (190x140) and a single bed (190x90). The room can be divided by a curtain. There is a small vanity with hair dryer.

Outdoor is a semi-fenced private garden which includes 2 sunbeds. The terrace includes a dining table, 3 chairs, a barbecue and an umbrella.

The heated jacuzzi is for the guests' private use and is available all year round. Access has a supplement charge (to be settled upon check-in) of :

La Pinay is located in a hamlet overlooking the Ouysse Valley, a few steps from Belcastel Castle, one of the most beautiful castles of the Dordogne.

Lacave is at the crossroads of three departments (Lot, Dordogne and Corrèze) and three regions (Midi-Pyrenées, Aquitaine and Limousin). The Dordogne valley is an ideal base for visiting many sites within a one-hour radius.

For the gourmands, this little corner of the South West is the region of the black truffle, a rare and valuable product (truffle markets are held from December to February. It is also the country of foie gras, Rocamadour cheese, Périgord walnuts and Cahors wine. Visit truffle and cavage by appointment.

Shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and other amenities can be found in Souillac (10 kms). There is also a market every Friday morning.

TRANSPORT
The nearest airports are Brive / Dordogne Valley (30 km), Toulouse (180 km) and Limoges (150 km).

The station of more meadow is to Souillac (11 kms) and Brive-la-Gaillarde (46 km) line Paris-Toulouse

We are in a rural environment. It is essential to have a means of transport.

We can arrange bike rental.

The rate is for 2 adults and 1 child under 2 years old. The 3rd person of 2 years and over will have a supplement of 30 euros per night.

The price includes bed linen and towels (except pool towels).

Cleaning is optional. A deposit of 40 Euros will be due on arrival, refunded upon departure after inspection of the cottage.

Pets are welcome with a supplement charge. We would like to inform you that we have a cocker spaniel. The garden is semi- fenced so your dog/s cannot run away.

The swimming pool at the hotel-restaurant Pont de l'Ouysse (500 meters from the house) is open only from May to mid-September.

I do not serve breakfast but I make available to my guests some breakfast items like coffee (for the coffeemaker), tea/infusion, cereals, grilled bread, home-made jams, eggs, butter, milk, sugar and honey. Also available are some basic cooking ingredients like vegetable oil, olive oil, walnut oil, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar and red wine vinegar.
