This is a beautiful house and my wife and I had a great experience staying here. Google maps sent us to the wrong address. We called the hosts number and we were met at a location that was easy to find and personally guided to the property. Really above and beyond merely welcoming. The house is well equiped and would be a terrific place for a long visit.

Highly recommended. Maria is an excellent host and the property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nazare town is five minutes away as are several supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, Pingo, Continente). Nazare is a good base for exploring local beaches and places of interest. Plenty of places to eat too.

Nazare is Beautiful!

Great location and spacious home. We enjoyed walking to the town and we were lucky to stumble upon the festival and parade celebrating fisherman. It was such a treat. Nazare is special and very authentic.

Beautiful stay

Spacious home in quiet neighborhood except for the barking dogs across the street who alerted us to everyone who used the public garbage cans nearby. Full use of upper floors with 2 separate entrances and owners living below. Unique and quaint with brand new exterior renovations. Lovely stay.

Our seven day stay was excellent. Maria Elisa was on site to welcome us with house details and a gift. She was so helpful, from suggesting her local favorite restaurants to directions to tourists sites and local grocery shopping. She is much more than the typical owner/host.... we consider her a friend in Nazare.

Comfortable, Spacious Home in Beautiful Nazare

We had a wonderful time staying at Maria's property and would certainly stay again! It's a beautiful spot within 5-10 minute walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and shops. Maria was so responsive and kind; she made sure we were comfortable and the home felt very safe.

A quit but central location.

This property is extremely spacious, immaculately clean and feels like what my Portuguese grandmother's house would have felt like-if I had a Portugese grandmother. The location was ideal and the neighborhood felt very authentic yet it was a 10 minute walk to the center.

This home is spacious, and the furniture and floors are beautiful! Easy walk to great views and the lighthouse. We drove into Nazare for dinners, parked in the public lots which is cost effective. Central location for driving to visit Obidos, Alcobaca, and Batalha for a day trip.

This apartment is fantastic. It is spacious and well set up. The host was amazing. At check in she gave us a thourough walk through the apartment. She had great suggestions for sites to visit. Short stay in Nazaré

After a long drive from Lisbon we received a warm welcome from Marie Elisa. She showed us around the lovely apartment and told us about some places to visit. The apartment is lovely and we found the beds comfortable. We were doing a lot of exploring so were really there for breakfast and after supper. Nice to relax in the evening.

We had a wonderful stay. Property is located in quiet area but within walking distance to town and funicular to downtown. Finding parking in beach area is not fun. Maria was very accommodating and close by. Home was perfect and immaculately maintained. Only negative was the mattress..a bit too hard for us. But every else was perfect.

Great location in Nazare

We stayed for 4 nights in this perfect location - we could walk (10 mins) to the church square (which had a beautiful view of the main town and beach of Nazare) then take the funicular down to the main town (great town to wander the many narrow alleys and a great beach to walk and enjoy the waves) - we spent one day touring (driving) the area (Obidos, a medieval town was great to explore). The suite we stayed in (the upper floor of the house) was spacious (with 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen), clean, had parking, and the inside had beautiful woodwork, ceilings, and chandeliers - it felt very grand!! (there was even a bidet to use) Maria was a very friendly and gracious host who could speak english. We would definitely stay here again!!

There was absolutely no heating in the apartment. In the write up this was not mentioned or I would not have booked. I had this happen once before. I have reread the description of the unit and this was not mentioned. It was freezing in the apartment. We left after one miserable night and went to a hotel.
